The 1977 interview in High Times (Oct. 1977 No. 26) he describes in great detail how he did indeed soil himself for a week and snort crystal methedrine just prior to his examination to get a "big juicy 4-F" classification. His Selective Service classification record in out there for anyone who wants to see it... he was classified 4-F in 1972.

Went to one of hos concerts in the late 70's, I was a fan than and still am. Today you have all these snot nosed little kids that wouldn't know good music if it bit them in the ass.
