I got in touch with Sheila Dibnah on Ebay,as she sometimes auctions things for the memorial fund .We made a donation to the fund and looked round his yard.It was brilliant just a shame he wasn't there to explain things in his unique way!.
it is now owned by an enthusiastic couple. Planning on restoration and where possible public access. RIP Fred

live near this garden the national trust should if allowed be allowed to buy and preserve as is a crying shame if allowed to be split up

Fred had some nerve aswell how he used to used to go up chimneys on those ladders took some bottle , there is no way on earth I would go up there .
