I like Jackie Earle Haley but role is not ment for him it funny i read article few years back and robert englund was on the article he talk about how jackie earl haley audition for the part of freddy before robert did and still didn't get the role then 24years later he get the role who know.

@Rorschach2020 I didn't know he was up for the part before. I think the real issue is in the fact that he just had nothing to work with. His version of Freddy was so dull and lifeless. And I agree, the ending was nice, but is it worth sitting through a near 90 minutes of crap? No.

And yeah, if they wanted to Freddy from New Nightmare, that Freddy wasn't sympathetic, he was a demon, of course he's going to kill on cue. So, I see what you mean, but they missed the point of NOES entirely.

Oh yeah and one other thing and this movie they took freddy charm & personality

and try to make him look like the freedy from the new nightmare if there were going to that then give him cool graphic makeup the mother fucker does not look like a burn vicim and how am i suppose to be a of a person who is my height.

Only thing this movie has to offer was that cool ending i know it was a ripe off from the original movie The dreams sequences didn't feel like actual dreams it felt like freddy was teleporting you to a other part of the reality and the kill fatalities in this movie are so lame and uninspiring and not creative like in the original one that what make freddy .

I wouldn't waste my time buying the movie and you told me to forget about part two i don't think so dude.

@Rorschach2020 What do you mean I said forget about part 2? Also, yeah, don't buy the movie. The extras are a stupid documentary on the making of this film. And that's it. For both Blu-Ray and DVD I believe,
