Out of interest, why did Andy Crane not to the voice over leading into Neighbours? I was under the impression the CBBC presenter always did that.

wow - 21 years ago in 2011...

is it me or did the 90s last forever and the 00s go by in the blink of an eye? i'm 28 at the moment (5.25pm GMT, Tuesday 11th December 2010). i suppose it's a symptom of getting older. it's great to relive all these old telly moments and old childrens programmes (Rainbow, Postman Pat, Pigeon Street etc) but sometimes it does make me feel like crying...

I met and had my photo taken with Andy Crane at Camelot Theme Park when he worked with Century 105. he was the nicest guy. really great to meet him and get his autograph. top presenter and really enjoyable to watch on Motor Mouth, Bad Influence.

Amazing how soon after this it was that Yugoslavia fell apart ... not to mention that the winner was the Italian entry (before they lost interest) celebrating the coming European single market.

Never saw this at the time, so good to see it 19 years on. Always liked Andy Crane, though his subsequent career has been, at best, a letdown.
