Thanks, I have been doing this for several years with my Levemir and Novolog pens. It has saved me money and I can get 10 to 12 units more from each pen. I contacted the company about the excess left in the pens. They claimed I had defective pens and gave me new ones. I still could draw out excess insulin from the new pens.
