They were always innovative musicians from the outset, I know a lot of old school fans don't like the mid 80's stuff onward, but you have to admit they were well ahead of the game at all times. Mallinder always had a very distinctive voice no matter what style of music he chose to record or perform live.
I remeber a show on MTV, aired Sat or Sun(not 120minutes) in 85 that showed "alternative" stuff, saw this video and probably stole the money to buy the album the next day-can't remember doing things right. I know this steered me towards Skinny Puppy.
I got the Drinking Gasoline dubble 12" set that came out in 1984 (?) I think, would love to have it on C.D. Having Sleepwalking & Big Funk on the C.D. copy of The Covenant, The Sword And The Arm Of The Lord is one thing but to have the set as it should be would be great.
Excelente. Junto con todo el video Gasoline in your Eye hasta ahora lo veo-escucho-bailo como si fuera actual, nadie tiene esa innovacion desde hace mucho.
Sorry to misunderstand you. I thought you don't have it in your collection yet which is why I posted the current CD prices list. ...That's okay. I'll try to upload them soon but I don't have much luck with it. Always something stops me in the end. Sadly. :-(
Yup. I come to the very end and everytime I press the submit button to finally finish it I always get the reply the video/song can't be uploaded. (I've tried several uploading programs already.) What's the problem? :-(
I have a 4-year-old hellion who would destroy records in a flash. Curious and carefree boy, I believe a record player would mystify him and he'd attempt to dissect it.
Well, i must comment on that, this perticular song by CV is somewhat towards eltctro/EBM, but just slight =) But i agree CV is was/is general absolutely industrial....
Aren't we a good ten to fifteen years overdue for a decent DVD remaster of this already?
