@BobbieTheFish Sometimes the pieces pop out and you have to put them back in before you can keep solving the puzzle. My megaminx does it all the time. It's actually really annoying.

How do you get your layers to spin so freely? Just bought a C4U Gigaminx but had to put 400 litres of silicon spray just to get it to turn.

Now, the 2nd layer SORT OF turns ok....i guess

but the 1st layers are sticky as - they bash into each other and turning one top layer is a scary exercise

Any suggestions on making my Gigaminx more user friendly?

Done correctly and to statistics, this should take exactly four times the amount of time a 5x5 takes. So me with an average 6 minute 5x5 solve, should, after a little practice, be able to get 24-minute solves. This is 2x parts + 2x look ahead. Rather simple.
