Germany and France A never ending Friendship

It is the different peoples', the citizens who are able to and who should establish a friendship between two nations!

I am from Poland and this is the first time I've heard about Germany - France friendship. With all respect but what about both world wars :

First World War ; Entente powers and Central powers.

Morocco Crisis when France planned to make Morocco part of their empire and Germany threatend France to test the Entente powers.

Second World War : Hitler's occupation of France.

I don't think this is how a friendship between two big nations should look like.

The Franco German Friendship started after the WW2 it was signed in 1963 in Élysée Treaty. Not surprising poland never heard of it since they were under soviet rule still google is your friend no?

You are right with your analysis! Talking about French-German friendship it is important to know that it was born out of fear and the wish for control, having in mind the future. After three wars (1870, 1914, 1940) one came to the conclusion something like that must never happen again. The best way to avoid this is "friendship". This thought was the main basement of the EU!

German politicians always name France and Poland as Germany's most important neighbours then.

@RuchPolskichKielbas Well I don´t think Hitler and General Petin are still alive. History changes and friendships are born. We didn´t stay static over the past 67 years. We moved forwards into a better future. The post war era which lasts a lot longer already then the napoleonic wars, the first and second world war together, thats how a friendship between two big nations should look like.

Es bleibt nur zu verstehen und zu Wiederentdecken, was der deutschen Wirtschafts-Modell vor 1914 war : bedeutet die inverse Modell von dem, der uns heute tötet. Dh das Modell, das direkt aus dem englischen "finanziel" Modell war, wer gesiegt hat, nachdem Deutschland kläglich abgerissen war...

...und wir franzosen, haben nicht verstanden, das wir noch einmal die "Fußsoldaten von England" waren ...

Reste à comprendre et redécouvrir le modèle économique allemand d'avant 1914, l'inverse du modèle "financier" actuel qui nous tue, celui-là directement né du modèle anglais qui a triomphé une fois l'Allemagne lamentablement démolie... et nous français n'avons rien compris, et avons été les "petits soldats de l'Angleterre", une fois de plus...

Wir begrüßen auch unsere deutschen Freunde, mit alle Empathie für unsere gemeinsame Geschichte und vor allem für das historische Unrecht von Deutschland gelitten. Und es wäre gut, es wieder zu entdecken.

Deutschland erinnert sie sich nur, nach 65 Jahren "Sonderweg" Schuldgefühle, was Deutschland früher war ? Hitler ist nur 12 Jahren in einer tausendjährigen Geschichte.

L'Allemagne se souvient-elle seulement de ce qu'elle fut après tant de culpabilisation? Hitler, c'est 12 ans seulement, au sein d'une histoire millénaire.
