that figure 10 seconds into the video is the shadow side of a rock! I'm sorry folks but this is embarassing. I've seen the 40mb JPL photo and have it downloaded on my computer. Do you know that the "figure" is about and inch or two high at the most? When you see the other rock formations all around it you can easily see that it is unfortunately just a coincidental anomoly caused by erosion. These types of claims discredit real mysteries and conspiracy facts.

Did anyone else notice the "figure" that looks like it's standing on the surface at "10 seconds" into the video. Pause it and you will see what I'm seeing. There looks to be something there. Who knows, it could be a rock, but it could be an "alien". For the record, I do believe that there is not only some life other than us, but a lot of life other than us. This is an interesting play of light, shadow and local stratigraphy. If you look more closely at the surrounding outcrops you can see a number of ridges and recesses. The dark area is actually one of these cavities. The image is not closer than the background terrain of light brown/red rocks, it is actually set within it. If the top of the image is north, then the sun is positioned to the NE (see other shadows). The figure itself casts no shadow. Just an optical illusion. Sorry folks.
