My dearest queen of pacing! I have been ignoring this method for the last year since I went to physio rehab because I didnt have time to not do things, so I would crash out every ten days or so and need a complete reboot. You have totally pushed me to change my ways, not be pressured to do things I cant, but also to rest up so I can do what I want whether it be studying or socialising. Thanks so much so helping me see sense xxxx
@sarahwithstars thanks, Sarah! I have been messing up pacing lately too, had so many flares that I'm not sure what level of any physical activity I can cope with. Guess I'll just have to start figuring it out again? Thanks for the positive comment, I've had a rough month & need getting back on track again. I hope that things are going well for you!! xx
oops i ran out of characters but moving along..... after watching yurs and some other crps suffers videos tonite im beginning to think all my doctors are talking shzit they seem to think this" thing" will eventually just fizzle out in a few more months however with this hot weather we been having, im positive its getting worse. im having a attack right now and am resisting having to pop a morphine pill. anyway have a great christmas and i really hope u continue to feel better for 2011
@shazam441 CRPS does not fizzle out. That's what my first pain dr told me and it was a load of crap! He left me limping for a year without treatment and that stuffed up my hip which led to the pain going full body. I get so mad when drs still tell people this old lie!!! Get yourself another pain dr asap - I'm about to see a new one, my fouth in 4 years, I thought I had a good one but he turned into an ass.
@shazam441 always happy to meet another sufferer in Oz, although I'm not glad that you're suffering!! Please feel free to email me at HayleyCaf@gmail.com, I get those messages more frequently :) x
thankyou so much for posting these videos, i have had this evil nerve condition since feb when i broke/sprained my ankle at work having fallen through the rotton floorboards, yay for me. i dont know why it didnt occur to me to do a utube search sooner, but im glad i did. for some stupid reason i thought i must be the only person from australia with this damn thing, luckly i was diagnosed about 3 months into this nightmere but still it hurts like a mother bleeper.
Congrats, I too went to a Christmas party with husband last night for the first time in years. I carefully plotted all week for strength to get out. I never was able to paint my nails or do my hair the way I wanted but I did it and had fun.
@gsthobois It's hard to let go of those little things that we want to do sometimes! I often wish I had something new to wear, or time to be more creative with my hair, but in the end just getting out is such an accomplishment that all of that seems irrelevant! Congrats on getting out the the party. I have stuffed up my pacing in the last few weeks...or my pain is just worse, but hoping to get it back soon!!
Congratulations on getting out and living life as no one deserves it more than a chronic patient. We spend too many days in the recliner, lying on the sofa or staying in bed due to high levels of pain
@123dietdrpepper thank you! In the month since my pacing was working for me, I've managed to lose it all again...too many flares have thrown me all off kilter! Hoping to get it back soon. Hope you are well! I have a lot of catching up to do :) x

May this low pain reprieve be a long one!
