  • I don't understand why you were backing straight up. Why weren't you turning already as you began to pull out of the parking spot?

  • I like that set up were did u get it

  • At :19 you stopped there like you wanted to get hit. Just drive off asap next time. You can see in the end the other driving off (after waiting for you to move). You must be one of those angry crazy drivers for holding him up like that so he had to drive off the other way.....

  • @jdmjax I stopped because he started backing up, twice, and I still had some backing up of my own to do.

Do you guys even watch the video before commenting? I mean seriously... It's not that difficult to understand.

  • learn how to back up. turn your wheels left or right so you both have room next time. It looks like you back straight out into his spot at the end there. WTF man. Let the woman drive next time....

  • you're a dumbass...you should have let them hit you and got paid

  • One time (and only time) got a douche like you, that was so worried about being right, and rather than just move along...sat there. I admitted I was wrong (little mistake), but he sat there.

So I said FUCK IT. Well...long story short, I bashed his car, but he went to jail for entrapment. Was I wrong...hell yeah. But who was the one that went to jail and who only had to pay $150 deductible for repairs.

Don't sweat the little stuff. When you witness someone getting killed THEN post it.

  • @WeatherWarriordotnet I believe none of this. Entrapment is a prosecutorial concept, not a crime for which you can be arrested. Way to make shit up to try to prove your ill-conceived "point".

  • @Scruit If you live in Montgomery County, MD you might be able to find the report. Jonathan Huges was his name. It happened in March 2004. I don't have the police number, but it happen at the Home Depot parking lot in Germantown. I never went to court. Not sure there was even a trail. But I know that dude went to jail. I typed entrapment cause that was what I told the cop. I know he probably woulda just been told to move, but the cops were pissed when they arrived.

  • @WeatherWarriordotnet You don't go to jail for traffic offenses in this country, unless you are stupid enough to refuse to sign the ticket. "Entrapment" is the legal concept where an agent of the government convinces you to commit a crime then tried to prosecute you for it. Fair enough if you are trying to describe some other concept such as Impeding Traffic then I can see someone getting a ticket for it - but not jail unless he had some other issues (warrants) or refused to sign the ticket.

  • @Scruit Yeah...I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I think it went beyond a traffic offense. Think of someone who say corners you someplace and essentially holds you hostage. Hostage is a heavy word, but it also somewhat describes the situation too.

Oh..and there is lots of jailable offenses. Many states are now arresting on the spot for not having insurance. It's a real problem, and hence more agressive action is being done. Same with 30+ speeding in a state outside your home state!

  • @Scruit ...additionally, wreckless and negligent (or whatever they call it in various states) also is seeing a lot more arrest with jail time. Some on the spot, some after sentencing in court.

  • @Scruit In the same situation, someone parked behind my car, blocking me in. This time I later found out it was a neighbors BF (so it got awkward later). But same general thing used by that officer, except this time, no owner round, so car was towed. It is a violation...even if I don't have the right term. The word "hostage" seemed too strong in the previous situation I described.

  • @WeatherWarriordotnet You are my idol. Truly yeah if this dumbass stopped and wouldn't move because he wanted to show me he was right, him and his passenger would have remembered that day that I jumped out my car and beat the shit out of em. But I wasn't there in person so I don't know who is right.

  • @shaft870 I'm far from any idol. I was wrong, and you would be wrong as hell for an assault. But really...would it be worth it for the other person to go through it all.

  • @WeatherWarriordotnet See thats the thing, I know its wrong but I like teaching peple lessons that maybe they will remember the next time they go to do that next thing lol

  • lol you're what's wrong with this country. You obviously know he's not paying attention. But instead, you continue on. Be the man, suck it up and just wait for the idiot to get out of your wait. Instead, all you do is escalate the situation because you just want to be right. lol

  • @scottmhoward You're so completely wrong it actualyl made me laugh. I was already backed out 75% of the way into the center. What was I supposed to do when he THEN started backing up? Pull back into the parking space? Or let him know I'm there and wait until it's safe to finish my maneuver?

  • @Scruit

I'm so glad that there's sane-headed Americans like you, champ. All we see here in Australia is whackos like the ones that are attacking you for this video.

Think I might get me a couple o' dash-mounts too. Do they record for you or do you have multi-channel DVR?

  • @EvanJCastle This unit is a multi-camera DVR. AverDigi EB1304 MOB. multi-channel but only standard definition (720x480). Ebay dashcams come in MUCH higher quality. This system has evolved over 9 years and is actually quite a dinosaur in a technology sense - but I built features into it that I have yet to see in a cheaper dashcam so I keep using mine. Features like the system turning on from impact detection, doors opening, motion sensor, etc.

  • @Scruit

Thanks mate. I'll take a look.

  • You're working very hard for a comeback aren't you? Isn't that correct?

  • @DevinRossProductions He's a "gifted person" the camera's are aid's for people with certain disabilities.

  • @Geraldtoo Dictionaries are aids too. Look up "apostrophe", specifically when to use them.

  • @Scruit Your right thanks!

  • @Geraldtoo *smh* While you have the dictionary open, look up "your" and "you're".

  • If your like- dislike bar was a traffic light, youd be waiting a long time;-)

  • @Geraldtoo If I waited for an intelligent comment I'd be waiting even longer. Thankfully ShayneQuinn knows what's going on.

  • @Scruit Thats great that your caregiver observes you to and from the store, Shayne must really care for you and thats great! Just listen and pay close attention to her. That special equipment must help you with your condition(s).Want to wish a special Merry Christmas to a special person!

  • @Geraldtoo that was dumb

  • IDIOTS! This man reversed out, and some other idiot almost reversed straight into him, however if he did, then the proof is all recorded = the whole point of this video. shit

  • This ladies and gentlemen is a douche bag. He didn't even use the camera, he turned his head, his wife turned her head, and together, along with the services of many, many cameras he was able to park a car. But only douche bags backs cars into the stalls.

  • @logawfull I backed OUT of the stall. And the cameras don't display on the dash - they only record.

  • I like to pull through the first spot into the one across so there is no backing out. Sometimes have to park way out but the hoof does us good. I like the cam idea but 4 seems excessive. You mentioned brain dead drivers and I agree there are many - my guess mostly due to the numerous orange containers that line their medicine cabinet. Honestly though, good job on being vigilant in your driving habits - getting very weird out there

  • 4 cams? wow someone more paranoid then me :) this is why i always back into parking spots. especially having a long bed truck it sucks backing out. i almost always back in unless theres way much crap going on causing me to pull in quickly

  • If you learned how to drive you wouldn't need a camera. See those mirrors on the sides. They work good too.

  • @NowLifeStarts I had no problem seeing him. He had problems seeing me.

  • @Scruit Exactly. He's probably not using all those cameras to actually see, he's using them for evidence in case the retard backing up got even more stupid.

  • @Scruit So your cameras help you see him not see you?

I need a camera for my bathroom so I can see myself not be being able to see myself in my mirror, lol!

  • @Geraldtoo Are you really that dense? The cameras help me prove what happened behind me in the case of an accident. It's not that difficult to understand if you *try* to think about it.

  • @Scruit Actually I can see a use for it if your " very accident prone" or a "new teenage driver". Im ok tho, 20yr. no accidents, just have to be observant of your surrondings. "Tip" always observe if anyone is in a vehicle or getting into one in the area before leaving any spot."Also applys to children"! (Becareful Okay!!!)

  • @NowLifeStarts "If you learned how to drive you wouldn't need a camera" ? What? For most of us, with camera in our vehicles, its mostly for innsurance-issues, and to have a silent witness that remembers everything. With that much insane stuff going on, and with so many brain-dead people on the road, its good to have a little friend that can say to the police: "Hey, THIS happend.." Having a camera & know how to drive has nothing to do with eachother. And you actually see more by turning your head

  • @NowLifeStarts The cam is clearly recording for "proof" purposes, not for a backup cam.

  • Comment removed

  • if u had eyes dude, u wouldve seen that his reverse lights were on he was waiting for the damn people to get out the way so he can backup and he mustve not seen u backing up so he started going and then he seen u so stop trying to blame it on him because its not his fault people arre behind him walking slow and ur just blind!

  • @koolkid192011 His backup lights don't come on until after I started moving. 0:12

  • @Scruit @koolkid192011 yeah, Scruit is right, you can clearly see the lights come on, thought I would say it is at 0:11

  • good idea sir

  • Dude your driving a gay car get over it . Buy a truck

  • @ian101670 Dude, you are overcompensating, get over it. Buy a BMW.

  • Im backing up in a parking lot slowly and safely and people drive right past me because they are in a rush, instead of taking 5 seconds to let me finish backing out

I mean im already moving and half way out but I guess im taking too long

backup cameras are great for things like that

  • Why did you back up, and just stop behind that guy for 5 seconds. Are you instigating a fight or something I don't get it.

  • @betterdropdatdonk I still had to back up more and didn't want to do that until I was sure he wasn't backing up himself.

  • @Scruit you had to back up more because you didn't turn the wheel far enough coming out of the spot. see it everyday. f-ing three point turn for a parking space. makes me wonder how people get their license in the states.

  • you guys are all gay. you posted this bc a guy threw his car in reverse while you were backing up, get a life loser.

  • I wish i didnt watch this crap

  • Although you are correct, you started backing up even before the other driver put his car in reverse, people in general just hate whiners. This is something that everyone who frequents parking lots will experience. The other driver was a noob, I'll give you that much.

  • This is why I always back into a parking spot because a popular auto insurance scam is to run into you while you are backing out and claim that you backed into them and insurance companys love it because they raise your rate instead of calling it fraud.

  • @packrat541

insurance companies don't love it. It is fraud. And it cost the insurance company million of dollars. If you can prove the party is committing fraud, you notify the insurance company and the police. You have to remember it is hard to prove, unless you know they are doing it all the time.

  • He should have let the van that already have its backup lights on to back up.

  • @taledarkside His backup lights don't come on until 0:12, after I'm moving already.

  • mirrors? who uses them anyway

  • oh wow you just showed that minivan up with yours....

  • That seems pretty typical. I always look over my shoulder too(glad someone else does). In a situation like that, I pop out of reverse and just wait for them to come out so I don't need to worry about them hitting me if they are not paying attention.

  • There is absolutely no blind spot on mostly all cars except under them. That is why I fucking hate it when someone especially women say there is when they didn't even look around to see, they just glanced into a mirror.

  • @kellybolin There are these things called blind spots. Most cars have them. Maybe you haven't heard of them.

  • Your first mistake: not wearing seatbelt

  • Um, you weren't using your cam. You were looking over your shoulder.

    I don't get it?

  • @Mr5Minutes I don't use the rear-camera to back up - I use to to check for obstacles on the ground below my sight line out the window, but I look backwards to back up.

The value of the rear-facing camera here would be to show I was backing first and all the way into the center of the aisle and stopped before he started his second backing maneuver. Without this evidence it would be 50/50.

  • @Mr5Minutes /facepalm. Prooving whos fault it would be if the other guy crashed into him.

  • that's kind of the setup i want on my car... at least 4 cameras.

    external rear facing wide angle

external front facing wide angle (that can see, clearly, high enough to catch the color of a traffic light as i go through it)

internal rear facing that can see me

internal front facing that can see dash (speed etc)

  • What do you use for a mobile dvr?

  • @fluke196c Aver EB1304 MOB

  • You weren't even using the camera.

  • Interesting Camera Setup can you tell me what model it is, recording, etc?

  • WHY do you stop and wait for the other guy to drive up to you, get the FUCK on and get on the road!!! he's waiting on you!

  • @Atlaspower78 He didn't see me and was backing up.

  • @Atlaspower78 lol to true, i bet your that scrotumless dad who drives the minivan in the fast lane doing the speed limit. do you also wait for your kids at the bus stop so they dont get abducted? i hate u so much for making me end up on the dark side of youtube with your video. go take your over protective jerk off personality and drive that car off a cliff.

  • @certifiedlawnpros Good Idea as Long as your Hypicritial Ass is riding Shotgun... Better yet, just use the Shotgun and leave the Safe driver to his own

  • @Atlaspower78 waiting FOR you, not 'on' you. Twat.

  • @aptsys It's called slang, cunt

  • i live in ohio:(

  • Holy fuck that was fucking intense, man! Seriously! I would have got out after that incident and had a nervous breakdown! For real! Thank you so much for uploading this video so I know how to handle the situation if it arises. Such an awesome video! Totally worth uploading!

  • Well... that was impressive.

And in the uk, we're told to reverse into parking spaces to save all this confusion about using the mirrors or not using the mirrors. ;)

Nah I was told to look, mirrors are for parking and manoeuvres, not reversing.

  • @kellybolin Or what? You'll arrest me?

  • @kellybolin Try pulling your head out of your ass, quit trollin teh intarwebz and stop pretending to be a cop.

  • @kellybolin The only police academy the teach you to not look backwards when backing up is the one that Hightower and Mahoney went to.

  • @kellybolin That's how they teach you in driver's ed

  • Hey look honey, there's something good on TV!

it's this little movie where a minivan getting bigger on the screen!

Hmm, well let's just keep backing up straight behind us, without making any attempt to cut the wheel left or right.

Oh would you look at that, here we are parked directly behind him, with our tires facing straight ahead.

This wasn't a good way to leave the spot, but it seems that we can control the little movie by driving in reverse in our van. How neat!

  • @kellybolin You have windows for a reason. LOOK. If you think your mirrors covere everywhere then you're being trained wrong. The weight of public opinion is against you.

  • @Scruit - Some cars are easier to see out the back of than others.

  • @JBofBrisbane Those that you cannot clearly see out the back of should be compensated for with better use of mirrors, addition of a backup camera or changing of one's driving patterns to not put oneself in a position where you need to back up blindly.

  • @kellybolin If you are a cop then I want out of this state. You gonna ticket me for looking in the direction I'm driving?

  • @kellybolin i call bull shit or maybe in your state the rules are dif. but how the fuck are you supposed to see behind you without looking out the back of the car. and no rearview mirrors are no good.

  • @kellybolin how the fuck did u get your license...

  • @kellybolin I hate when people dont get there ass up to get a full view of what they are driving into i look out the back for the same reason i dont face backwards when going down the freeway.

  • @kellybolin Semi truck drivers cannot look backwards physically for obvious reasons. If you think that 3 little mirrors will give you more to see that turning around in your seat, you shouldn't be driving. TURN YOUR LAZY ASS AROUND AND LOOK BEHIND YOU, it ain't hard. Mirrors are good for checking blind spots, but cannot be relied on as the only view when backing up.

  • @kellybolin WTF? Who only uses their mirrors when backing up? It's literally an automatic fail if you don't turn your lazy ass around on the drive test, how fucking lazy can you be?! Holy shit, I hate lazy people.

  • @kellybolin My mirrors don't provide enough coverage for safely backing up - especially in a parking lot with kids walking around. I would consider the folks who ONLY look in their mirrors to be lazy.

  • @Scruit I agree entirely... every vehicle has blind-spots. That's why we have such a handy term for them... "blind spots". Anyone who doesn't think so should ride a motorbike in a city for a few months; when your life depends on checking over your shoulder, it becomes second nature!!!

  • @Scruit How about drivers of vehicles with no rear view mirrors, like semi's, box trucks, fire apparatus, ambulances, and even some work vans. Are those drivers all lazy? Once you've learned how to back a vehicle using side mirrors, you can improve your backing accuracy greatly. It just takes practice.

  • @dcocozzelli Irrelevant. Those folks wouldn't park in a space like this. If they did, they would soon figure out that that can't see the space directly behind them for about 20'. Pedestrians and close cars woudl be invisible.

  • @Scruit This is why those vehicles have backup cameras and/or use the assistance of a spotter while reversing. May be irrelevant in this small spot, but The statement about drivers using mirrors only being lazy is not ALWAYS true.

  • @dcocozzelli We're talking about vehicles you park in a parking lot.

  • @Scruit Go to google images and look up "chevy express work van" There is an example of a vehicle to park in a parking lot with the same restrictions. (this assumes that the contractor is USING the work van and the rear window is likely obstructed.

  • lol as if you needed a cam for that

  • where's your seatbelt ?! Ha

  • @LastShotprods Read the rest of the comments. Not required in a parking log.

  • @Scruit I'm not hating here just mentioning =) You don't put a seatbelt on because you're required to, you put it on because someday you'lle be in a parking lot and some ricer idiot will be flying round when you reverse out, a head on hit at only 30 mph is a 2 tonne force, your body wheighs two tonnes on the seatbelt so if you havn't got one on that just through the windsheild man... In a parking lot

  • @deanoobaby yeah thats cool and all to obey the law and do the bare minimum. But if a person is moving their vehicle 35kph and another driver hits that driver going the same speed. It would be the same as hitting a tree going 70kph because both your speeds combine. And to top it off your not wearing a seatbelt? It's your personal choice, and I'm just letting everyone know mine. I live in Texas U.S.A.

  • @elitec5r I personally put it on as I get in before starting the car before plugging ny phone in to the charger. That's just me. My mother was parked in a parking lot when some guy had a heart attack and he jammed his foot on the gas and rammed her. Everyone said if she would have been strapped in she wouldn't have sustained much damage to herself. But then again I'm also the guy who puts his hazards on as I back up. Lol flashing lights tend to get ppls attn more than mere reverse lights

  • it needs to learn how to drive he need the whole street to back up lol!

  • the ironic part is that it probably took up more of your time to edit and upload this video than that guy did making you wait for a few seconds while backing out of a spot.

Some people are just mad at the world I guess. Or you have a very uneventful life. So little things like this are probably still spoken about at your dinner table as if they were life-changing events.

  • @00Mandingo00 Your life is even more uneventful if you have time to comment on this...

  • @Scruit Says the guy who lives in Ohio. 100 million people commenting on youtube and they all, according to you, have no life....sure thing pal.

  • @00Mandingo00 Wow, you're right, I DO live in Ohio. I'm ashamed of myself and will promptly kill myself.

  • @00Mandingo00 Says the sad cunt that uploads a video about sharpening a knife. Fucking tosspot, go off yourself, no one will give a fuck

  • Who pulls straight out of a parking spot? Do you not know the "half the length of the car" rule in turning? You're taking up more room than you need to so this was a close(r) call for no reason.

I do like your camera setup a lot though, its very effective. I enjoy watching your videos. They're interesting.

@Shellshocker60 Most drivers education facilities tell drivers that the seatbelt is the last thing that they should put on. I personally do it as I start rolling forward, not backward.

  • Your not wearing your sealtbelt and doesn't look like your passenger is either?

  • @Shellshocker60 Ohio Revised Code 4513.263 (B) (1) requires the use of seatbelts on streets and highways. I'm backing out of a parking space on private property, so the law does not apply here.

Also, depending on where you live... Many jurisdictions also specifically allow the vehicle to be operated in reverse without your seatbelt on to all you to turn your body to look out the back.

  • @Scruit I know this is old but..... That might work for him covering damage but read Ohio Revised Code 4513.263 (F)(2). And further more you had no intention of putting that seatbelt on real nice pulling out a law code I can do it too. When exactly were you or your passenger going to put said seatbelt on? I am sure if polled at any store or street corner if people put their restraints on at the stop sign where the parking lot meets the public road what do you think they will say?

  • @hotdog2020 4513.263 (F)(2). That says I can sue the car's manuacturer when a seatbelt defect contributed to injury or death. How is that relevant?

And your assumption that we don't wear seatbelts while driving is, quite simply, incorrect. Look at any video I posed that shows inside the car while I'm on a highway.

  • Comment removed

  • @Shellshocker60 dont no where you are but in australia your allowed to reverse a car with no seat belt an also forward if the car does not exceed 25 kph

  • I'm sorry, i'm a nice guy, but i've been watching your videos, and you just like to complain a lot. Yeah some people made mistakes, mistakes to laugh about, but i read that you bring people to court, and bring them up on charges. You just need to relax. You honk way too much, and you assume just because your right, means they should fix it. People make mistakes, you could just be nice and fix it yourself. Pull back into your spot, how big of a rush were you in? Nobody was dying in your car.

  • Other guys reverse lights were on way before you put your vehicle in reverse sir. Sorry but out of courtesy you should have let them go first.

  • @ClubCrew Wrong. Watch - they come on at 0:12

  • @ClubCrew He doesn't care, his logic is the same as *Hey that family ran the red light! Now you DIE!!! CUZ I WONT STOP! MUWHAHAHAHAHA*

  • @Burnz2much CUZ I HAZ CAMRAZ!! DURRR

  • Why does it take people so freaking long to back up and leave parking stall. sigh.

  • Actually it looks like his backup lights were already on when the crowd clears. I think it was just a chance of who gets to the middle of the driveway first, but i agree with you, doesn't seem like he was watching his rear till almost too late. probably cell ph driving.

  • @rann1968 but at least the other guy has an excuse for almost getting into an accident, seems like this jackhole wants to cause shit because he has camera's..

  • @Burnz2much I would disagree, but I'm sure you don't care.

  • @Burnz2much What? How is he causing shit? He was backing out plenty long before the other guy even began to let off the brakes. Then, as he stops because he notices the other car is reversing as well, the other guy starts backing up again, nearly getting into an accident, a small one, but still could cause expensive damage depending on what car he's driving. Now, what would the guy driving the van's possible excuse be anyway?

  • @FordExplorerFanatic The SMART passive thing to do would of been to NOTICE his fucking brake lights were also on.. then when his slow ass mind finally figured out he was gonna back out he just sits there and stares at him, with the *what are you gonna do* stare down.. good thing he didnt get out and punch you in the throat, i doubt your camera would of helped much then..

  • crazyness I see that all the time but caught one on my rigged dash cam on my bad drivers 2! dont know how they dont see eachother but I saw so did other but I honked to warn them but truck was still oblivious! plus with a dog in the bed of truck! by the way where did you get your cams and how much do they cost!

  • i seen that you waited til that person started to back up , you had time and you wasted it by waiting for this vehicle to back up you waited too long , we are not stupid , if that was me i would of had my camera recording and beeped my horn at you for sitting there to long

  • i take it you don't know alot about cameras???

they come with revese images so you can install them in doors and rear parts of cars

  • ok now take the camera out of the back window and install it into the trunk's key hole after u remove it , get an auto trunk release

  • Two problems: 1) Keyhole cameras flip the image 180deg to give a 'mirror' effect. no good on recorded video. 2) My car is a 2005 Legacy GT - it does not have a trunk keyhole. :-)

  • make your own hole 4 ur trunk , its all about hidden cameras to me.

i don't have a key hole 4 my trunk but it does now , 07 caddy , 4 cameras , pan tilt zoom - front camera , really cool w/ motion set cameras as-well while i'm parked and on anf off while i drive w/ a 4 camera switcher

  • It's a bit much to drill a hole for a camera when I already have a functioning rear camera. Also, the mirror image thing is still a problem.

  • That's why I back in...

  • LMAO

  • Where does your video get recorded to in your car?

  • I had an old 4ch DVR lying around from a CCTV system. It's mounted under the passenger seat.
