I have a lot of respect for players who are not naturally brilliant but work hard on their game.

I love Max Rooke, Scarlett and even Chapman who took time to develop.

Rooke (and also Hunt) are not the highest rated players at Geelong, but they add that little bit of grunt to the team that for so long, we lacked.

Blake's game has hardly developed in the last year or so.

Acts like that lift team mates, and there are surprisingly few who can do it.

Rooke is far more important to Geelong than the stats sheet or Brownlow vote count will ever say...

good game......his first goal was epic...i was right infront....but the second goal I had to watch from a far.....unbelievable how he could snap that on the run....when in previous weeks he was a bit hesitant to kick it.....simply brilliant
