Okay why does the Special Beam Cannon detonate at 1:45? It must have hit something right? But the moon wasn't brought back after Piccolo destroyed it in the Saiyan Saga and that means there are only two options left. Same thing happened in Frieza saga, when Burter and Jeice shot beams at Goku and they went through him. Vegeta was the only one who realized it was speed when he noticed the dirt incisions on the ground next to Goku's feet, to show where he moved.

@billypie1234 This is filler. Manga-wise, nothing has shown to be able to over-power a Destructo Disk just yet. Krillin using it on Perfect Cell was also filler. The attack can affect an opponent even leagues above their own, such as the Krillin vs 2nd form Frieza. If Perfect Cell tried the Destructo Disk in the manga on ssj2 Gohan, the teen would have no choice but to dodge them.

If he tried to catch them, he'd have been sawed off.
