  • cool !

  • great...its a bit weird to put him into deep trance thou...

  • Can you make a video with more info on doing rapid inductions? I've got all my NLP certifications and was kinda let down on a very brief segment on rapid inductions.

  • Ray, that was excellent. I really appreciated the text narrative in between the cuts as well--that enhanced my appreciation of this example. Nice work! (Plus, Shawn was really cute, so that was a plus for me.) ;)

  • Hi, I have a question.. I'm fairly new to hypnosis, I have been studying a bit and got certified, but my question is this.. Is there a specific name to this syle of hand to face induction rather that the typical style where the hand is slowly drawn to the face? I really like this method, but hardly ever see anyone other than Derren Brown use it in his shows and such. When Derren uses it, it is such a fluid motion as well. You are only the 3rd person I have seen to use this specific induction.

  • Usually this movement is very fluid (specially with women), that's why I like this clip because a near miss became a hit (I mean this guy is strong!).

It is called hand to face induction from I believe Mr. Win from Taiwan I believe it is.

  • Thanks! Great vid too btw - Saved as a fav!

  • That was amazing and very funny!

  • great workk dude ... hypnosis is hypnotizinhg withiout hyopmo "trance".. lved ur work

  • Hi Don, thanks for your kind comment! SOme new videos re coming soon. I filmed some stuff in the states.

It is safe as long as you make sure people don't fall. You always get out of trance. In the worst case a trance state will go over in normal sleep

  • Nice videos, man!

Tell me one thing. Is it dangerous? Can a begginer for example do harm to the subject?

Let's imagine that I got the idea, I come up to a friend of mine, make the hadshake inerruption, make him sleep sleep, deeper and deeper, you feel relaxed bla-bla-bla.... He follows me. Then I try to wake him up, but fail. Or he wakes up, but feels very bad. Or something else...

Tell me please what are the negative reactions and results of hypnosis???

thank you for posting the viseo! )

  • stone cold imduction is that he did not know he was going to be hypnotized and did not had a pre-talk.

Going along is being hypnotized. The fact that a person follows you is what it is all about. As a stage hypnotist I get this question a lot my reaction is: "I don't know nor care as long as they follow me".

In my opinion hypnosis doesn't exist at all only suggestion. A suggestion needs a convincer and if hypnosis is that convincer fine. If it is a scientific explanation also fine.

  • He shows the signs of entry level "trance". Rigidity of the hand which is stuck to the head. Also the fact that the other arm was completely loose (see it flop after the drop). He did not know about the induction it is a stone cold induction, so that was the wait wait reaction. But you see him follow all the suggestions. Sleep and he goes "oh" and the deepener you see him melt down. So the fact that he followed all suggestions is what you look for as a hypnotist.

  • why it don´t work when i do this?

  • Do you use hypnosis and do you say the words in the same pace? That is extremely important you need to pace the numbers with the person's "pace".

  • Brilliant, simply BRILLIANT!!

  • Excellent job, nice style.

  • Just amazing man, great work.

  • Excellent! Once you've taken this kind of a chance as a performer you can then do ANYTHING. A very gutsy move--that WORKED.

  • very nice videos. I'm really interesting in reading up more about this sort of stuff, and possibly one day tryin it out.

  • It takes a lot of guts to do a stone cold induction!!! But you controlled the situation amazingly well and down he went. You can actually see is red face and watery eyes afterwards. Very responsible to ask him how he felt. That guy's vocabulary isn't very big spooky... spooky.... freaked out... spooky.... Then again you really hit him hard. Sceptics are easy to hypnotized after you get their first attention. THIS DID WONDERS! AMAZING! SPOOKY BUT AMAZING!

  • It is indeed a bit scary to do this to a person you hardly even know. But as you said the skeptics are the easiest! They are so preoccupied stating to themselves this doesn't work, this doesn't work. That they basically lock their conscious mind into doing that and you slowly but surely deepen them.

BTW you can do this faster and that's firm tug on the arm and YELL SLEEP. But that's too rough even for me ;)

  • Wow!! He was really un-nerved by the hypnotic induction!! Unbelievable!

  • If you tried that on me I'd knock you out

  • Good point, you need to really be careful as a hypnotist to use unannounced cold inductions like this handshake pattern interrupt with hand to face.

Two things can occur some people (somnambulist) tend to crumble to the floor. That's why I placed Shawn here in an open area.

Or it can trigger an abreaction like you say violent reaction.

  • How about when you see any negative reactions to what you're trying to do you stop trying to impose what you want and leave the person alone

  • Obviously I respect the final choice of the volunteer. If the person wouldn't have reacted on the sleep sleep command I obviously would not have continued, there's simply no way it would've worked then.

And let me say that I initially perform the effect with only the ambiguous phrasing. So there's no need to go into the rapid inductions.
