it depends what you want to use it for, for general field riding, enduro and just having fun then yeh theyre good.

DT125's are very good bikes for trails.... even the air-cooled ones!

stock-wise they do extremely well in tight and steep hill climbs especially if you're under 175 lbs.

yup, power on the bike is tractable.... do not modify anything on the DT, especially the exhaust pipe, for it is engineered to provide you good low-end and enough power throughout the powerband, w/c is better for trails.

although it only makes a peak +15hp, i find more satisfaction trail-riding my air-cooled model 2000 DT125 than my former 33hp 2003 YZ125, because of its tractable power.

Nice Vid. KTM is an awesome bike. Yamaha DT-125 two strokes. Powerfull engine. Just get rid of the mirrors and the rear grill and you will have less weight in the bike. Cool music too. Go Dirt Bikers!!!

I switched from KTM to honda CRF 250R and my friend from DT to CRF 450R :) ( I still own KTM :P

i have crf250r too,and kawasaki ninja 636 and two weeks ago i sell ktm super commpetition 620....before i was have two yz125,one yz 80,kmx 125,kx 125 and lott more motorcycles but i think that crf250r is great,of course ktm is great too...but i really wanna buy exc 525 when it will be some money,keep the good raceing,and u should check my videos(they are all with on board cam)peace man...

I also bought crf 250r but I still have KTM :) Also Suzuki rmx 50 :D:D and peugeot speedfighter 2 wrc 307.

Crf is more fun to ride, and it handles better than KTM

i would argue that.. the radiator fluid in the 525 can boil easy on trails. i would take a 450 or a 400 over a 525
