  • wow! you saw a R46 E train?? lucky you

and is this song Irish Rock?

  • I saw an R46 E train twice actually. The video was the second time...I couldn't miss the opportunity to film it!

And yes: the first song is by Dropkick Murphys...that Irish-American band that sings in "The Departed". Personally not my fav, a friend of mine at the time suggested I use that song.

  • when did you see a R46 E train?

  • When? The fall of 2006

  • Oh thats cool (its DanTheMan702, this my new account because my old one was suspended)

  • @ss04to06 Wow how interesting on how you came to use the song in the video....I like the song. :)

  • When I was in New York I took the Subway too. But I have to say that it was very noisy and shaking all the time. When you ride a Subway in Berlin it feels nearly as comfortable as on a normal train. But the New YOrk subway nevertheless is the most fascinating subway I would say.

  • berlins subway is easily more facinating, the fact that the black marble used in one station comes from hitlers chancellory alone makes it more interesting.

  • i love the loudness on the train. Its really loud when the windows are open btw.

  • For the worker is working when the3 fat cat's about!

  • ive never been to NY and i doubt i ever will. but man i love this song and video.

  • LoL..yeah I keep confusing the R32 with the R38...being the most obvious difference is the R32 has corrugated metal walls top to bottom and R38 has from mid to bottom...

  • Whats the big deal about being Irish? Big deal, were all human, regardless of nationality.

  • no no your wrong. being irish is something special especially if its our round!

  • dude you actaully took the time to get footage to make this video.

    it rocks man.

NYC is the bst when it comes to the subway.

  • Thanks! I have loved the NYC subway since I was five. I took my camera on random subway-only trips and filmed away!

  • The New York City Subway, Built By America's Sons Of Ireland.

  • That's why I used an Irish-style band. I'm not Irish but I admire the Irish culture and my best friend is Irish. Yes! The NYC Subway was built by Sons of Ireland...another reason to love the Irish!

  • im irish and the dkm are new to me this song is so good. thanks for the post slainte!!! me boyos.

  • Wow..I've never seen a R44/46 "E" Subway Train...usually the E trains are completely made up of R32's and R38's...but mostly R38's

  • I'd seen them once before so when I saw it that day I had to film it lol

  • just stumbled in and saw this.some years ago the E ran r46 but TA found that 8 car 75ft cars had 32 doors per side as opposed to 10 car 60 ft r32

with 40 per side the extra door ways allow more people in and out more quickly reducing dwell time in stations..r32's run the E line and are assigned to Jamaica maintenance yard R38's run on the A and C and are assigned to 207st maintenance yard this is done to consolidate parts that are train specific to only one yard location

  • About damn time someone made a video for the best dropkick song ever made! Cheers to my friend Ron, the best drinkin buddy i ever had. I will never forget this song!

  • I decided Itunes

  • hey i liked the first song, so I guess i'll download it off limewire or itunes

  • Yes, the song rocks and so does DKM

  • That was sweet. Nothing like the NYC Subway System.

  • hell yeah!

    Thanks
