Simply stated one will know when he or she is saved and filled by the Spirit of God through there Christian Experience. A gift cannot tell me that I walk in the Presence of God. We are not justified by speaking in tongues, prochecy, or any other manfiestation of the Spirit but by faith in Christ. Therefore the mark is Salvation comes through submission to Christ, but not by a gift.

It never states that 1 must speak in tongues to be saved yet it did state that 1 must confess w/ the mouth the name of the Lord nd believe in the heart that God raised him from the dead. There are other manifestations that we seem to neglect such as when the Spirit fell on some individuals some prophesy, others spoke in tongues, nd others preach with boldness. 1 must understand tongues are a gift of the Spirit in which the bibles states that “to SOME” it was given the gift of speaking in tongues

Think of it as this: You are saying if you believe in God, You will be saved, when the bible says you SHALL be saved. Also, the devil believes in God, matter of fact, he KNOWS that God is real, And he is far from receiving the Holy Ghost. Think about you; If the devil believes and God and is not saved, what about you?

Speaking in Toungues is the inital evidence of receiving the true Holy Ghost. You can't avoid it, even if you try!

@Walmart789456 Speaking in tongues is a manifestation, that is not the central part of salvation. To confess and believe in your heart that God raise Jesus from the dead ye SHALL be saved. That is romans 10:9. Not everyone that is saved speak in tongues, that is one sign. There are MANY signs such as prophesy, wisdom, etc, the bible says these signs shall follow them that believe.

You cannot show any manifestation without Jesus, he brings forth things. All I am saying is that speaking in tongues is a sign, it is not the only sign. There are some people that speak in tongues but they have little growth that is why we should desire wisdom and knowledge.
