The monster was human before it mutated so that's why it was humanoid in appearance, except for the face. It was an experiment done on homeless. I ain't goin' in those tunnels! I love the environments in this movie. Perfect setting. And they were so close to the subway.

What's left to your imagination is worse than anything they can portray on screen. That's why, to me, horror films now just aren't scary anymore, Paranormal/Supernatural films anyway.

As A Koori we hav things like that thing breaking that guys neck in the water scene, with the long arms with no hands that live in the dark. only light keeps them away. Wen i saw that thing in the water i thought maybe they hav spoken 2 a koori? These things are legends but still are present in our lives today. but only in NSW. Koori common sense dictates have sum natural light in the room at all times 2 avoid being caught with this thing in the room coming closer 2 u.
the tunnel scenes were quite good but redundant of other movies like the caves and the decent so nothing original in this movie. what takes away from the suspense completely however is the annoying interviews, its hard being scared for a character if you know they made it through, this would have been great as a regular movie without the interview commentary, as a mockumentary pretty bland.
Just watched this...freaked me out. My only question was why (amidst all those bottles & other debris) no one thought to pick up something as a weapon.
I agree though, that this is one of the best horrors (in term of 'fear') since Blair Witch Project.

the tunnel scenes were quite good but redundant of other movies like the caves and the decent so nothing original in this movie. what takes away from the suspense completely however is the annoying interviews, its hard being scared for a character if you know they made it through, this would have been great as a regular movie without the interview commentary, as a mockumentary pretty bland.
