The world record is actually 83,000 by a gentleman from china. 42,000 was the old record. 35 digits by a 2-year-old beats the previous record of 30 digits memorized by a 3-yearold.
I think the REAL world record was trying to keep her attention long enough to get it on video. LOL
ps: she could not hear the person in the background who was shooting the video for the 10th time and hoping to get her recitation on video just one time.
