@thunderstruck665 Because it onlt sat 14,500plus for Bball and about 16,000 for hockey thats why. I don't agree with it but if you want pro sports you need at the very least 17,000 for both Bball and hockey.

Both the Miami Heat & Florida Panthers played their home games in Miami Arena. This was one of the last multi-sport arenas built. The Heat moved a few blocks away to the American Airlines Arena. The Panthers moved north to Sunrise, right outside of Fort Lauderdale, to the Bank Atlantic Center, f/k/a the Office Depot Center.
