I didn't see either shows until this afternoon, briefly. However. I really enjoyed JT's skills as an actor. I didn't originally watch this movie because it reminded me of Grease tooooo much and I thought this was a re release of the one with "Divine", this was pretty cool with Queen L. and all the rest. I think the selling point for me was seeing John Travolta portray a woman with such skill. It was very cute and made the story line endearing. great job.

wow wow k.... dude got into a fat suit and high heels and danced around like it was nothing k. Im a girl i have worn heels 2 times and luckly didnt break my ankles but came very close both times and thats just walking in them let alone dancing with so much extra weight to carry ontop of it. I love Hairspray, but I don't really see the point of John Travolta dressing up as a woman! He's just a TAD limited at dancing in a 30 pound fat suit!

I got hairspray BEFORE Christmas but i got the Shake And Shimy It edition for Christmas but I saw it. I love hairspray!!! I watch it EVERY night and practice the dance moves too!
