i just unlocked gill the other day. i must say it was worth it.took me 2 hours. i set the damage on high and put every thing 1 round and 3o secs. and put it on easy. kinda funny how even tho on easy. they still are hard lol.

I don't have third strike yet, since it's impossible to find. How does the ressurection super work? Does it go to full if you don't kill him with one combo, or does attacking him at any point make it stop?

If you do not hit him out of it, he regains all his life. Hit him once and it stops.

If he regains all his life via ressurection and then beats you before you do any damage to him, that counts as a perfect.

If you kill him while his super bar is full, he'll execute the resurrection super which will replenish his health over a small amount of time. During this time, the power emanating from him will stop hadoukens and similar energy balls in front of him. Simply attack him during the super to stop it. Once he is attacked, he will no longer regain any more HP. The purpose of this video was to show combos that utilize his immobility during resurrection. You do not need to kill him with one combo.

they are all classics. how do u think people felt when blanka, zangief, dhalsim, bison, cammy and guile, the most classic of SF characters, were missing from 3rd strike? they had to bring them back for loyal fans. im sure that when they release SFIV the second edition or w.e, or just add new updates on Xbox live or playstation network, that sooner or later, probably for a price, they'll add these new favorites as well. dont wry... its capcom... they know what we want. and theyre good to us :D

The music was awesome even if you don't like hip hop, the gameplay was fluid, the characters looked awesome. i just wish that I still had a PS2 so that I could play this (i had the collection). Beat the game with that character first. When you select them the next time you play, hit (START+any P/K )to get a new extra color. Characters have a total of 13 colors including a special LP+MK+HP color (which you can select anytime without beating the game).

The new colors with the START button are only available for the console versions of the game.

you can't the system direction has been changed.

I guess you have to unlock the other system directions (on console versions) to do most of this juggle stuff. I can see why they changed it from the original. Alot of chars have very cheap juggles with the original system direction. Oro's uppercut/stomp thing, Makoto's kick super art ending very fast, Urien being able to juggle with consecutive "hold back to charge" attacks (this one I find particularly ridiculous) are ones that come to mind. Not to say that it isn't entertaining of course.

I've been practicing juggling combos, which only work on stun, and when I hit them, the attacks sometimes still miss. Do I have like a "fixed" version or are there rules I can learn from a web site.

some combos are character specific...there's different weights and stuff. for some reason, Q is somewhat easy to juggle in stun, IIRC. i know that urien's cr. HP, MK tackle, MK tackle, MP headbutt corner combo doesn't work on alex and oro. if you found these combos from a site, see if there's any other specifics. if you're discovering them yourself, sometimes you have to blame it on the character, or learn to time things better.

It doesn't matter. The fatest way is to set it to the easyest difficulty setting with one round for the arcade mode. I did that when I wanted all the colors for each character.

Each of Oro's Super Arts have a Level 3 variation that can only be done when the super meter is full:

They are all QCF, QCF + PP.

(2 quarter circles x2 + two punches)

Remember, they have to be done with 2 punch buttons instead of 1 punch button, and a full super meter.

Yes. Just beat Arcade Mode with each character and without switching characters. You are allowed to continue as much times as you want, but you *cannot switch* them or else the trick won't work. Also, the difficulty level, amount of rounds and time limit don't matter.

After you beat Gill with a character, you also get new colors by pressing START + any of the 6 buttons before selecting the character. This is another way of checking that you beat the game with that character.
