  • how the hell are you gonna hit each body part 2 times a week with a 3 day split? you can't. example monday: chest, tricep, shoulder. tuesday off. wednesday: legs. thursday off. friday: back, bicep. saturday off. you can start chest day on sunday again but, what about your other body parts???? see what i mean!! unless you work out mon, tue, wed thursday off and repeat fri, sat, and sunday. thats the only way you can do it, right???

  • @MENDOZZA1011 within a 7 day span, you work out each body part two times. For example:

    Monday + Sunday = shoulders, chest, tris (7 day span)

    Wednesday + next Tuesday = Legs (7 day span)

    Friday + next Thursday = Back, Biceps, rear delts (7 day span)

    and repeat.

    in the last 6 months I've gained slightly more than 5lbs muscle:

    The first 3 months avg'd .5lbs per month = 1.5lbs in 3 months

    After finding the hodgetwins and took some of their advice

    The last 3 months avg'd 1.2 lbs per month = 3.6lbs in 3 months

    All you naysayers turn on your brain and do the math. Then keep that brain on and research how your body works. Without knowledge you may as well just SNAP SOME SH!T UP IN THIS MUHH FUHHH

  • I was wondering if I'm doing chest/shoulders on Monday, Legs and lowerbody on Wednesday, and Back and Biceps on Friday. I'm technically giving those body parts rest for about seven days so is that too much or should I reduce those days and go twice a week like you expressed in your symmetry video.

  • @ron2473000 muscles don't grow when you work out (besides the pump, obviously), the 'gains' come from recover (the healing process when the muscle prepares itself). Using a 3-day split like you describe can be very ideal because it gives the maximum heal/rest/growth time. Anything over 9-10 days of rest can result in atrophy, but 7 days allows for the most recovery. Just remember to plug yourself with protein every few hours so your body can do what it does best - repair.

  • the best workout I've got forearms is pull downs close together overhand, bring them all the way down close to your chest as you can hold it there for like two seconds and slowly let it back up.

    If you're forearms aren't burning by the third rep you're either not using enough weight or you're not doing it right.

  • Do you guys not realise there ARE OTHER TECHNIQUES other than just heavy compound movements. What about pre exaustion with isolation movements. Or just compound movements followed by the isolations. There are lots of ways to vary your workout and your not gonna progress as quick/ to your full potential if your only doing compound movements!

  • @rorywestham They're called isolation exercises for a reason, compound exercises are THE BEST for building strength and size gains, you can do curls 4 times a week if you want, but people are going to laugh at you when your biceps dwarf all your other muscle groups, and you're weak as shit because all your other muscles are lagging.

  • @yuvrajdiwan123 That usually happens due to weak form on isolation exercises. If you're doing curls or something make sure to always start with your weak arm that way you don't unintentionally get more reps out with your strong arm. Like if I'm going for 10 reps on each arm and i start out on my right that means the last rep will be with my left, but since its the last rep on my weak arm i might only get 9 reps whereas i got thee full 10 with my right. This can cause an imbalance over time.
