Open up the battery of an el-cheapo laptop. You'll find round standard batteries (very similar to AA or AAA) inside. No custom-made battery-packs there.
yeah. the same one that are for pro rc cars are in them (have higer Mah then AA) good thing about them is they cost like 15 bucks to rebuild wen macbook battrys are like 150 (in canada, i think?). still apple is the god of computing and microsoft bows in its presents to copy it with its gadgets, and windows 7 and the in menu search lol

And you're right, MS' way of the widget-concept sucks balls. For Win7 the Failbar... sorry, Sidebar had to go. That thing was the worst part of it all anyways. Other than that, no improvements...

MacBook certainly isn't cheaply built.
I haven't gone back to windows since, but i have a 30 GB partition for XP just in case :P

it's not cheap that the cover comes of easily, it's for easy
access to the packs so they can recycle them.
