  • My goodness you are cute!

  • Meg, you have so many subscribers because you've got content and brains to go along with the on-camera charm & beauty! I actually found you through a gamer blog where you did an extensive video on the xbox 720 and industry rumors. Your reviews are fun and informative and I always look forward to the outtakes at the end! You're not afraid to show who you are. It's great!

  • Heavy Rain is an amazing game, nice background. :)

  • the first hour of bioshock was frickin amazing, i also really liked Dr. Steinman the crazy cosmetic doctor i think hes like the first boss fight you have, and you see all the pictures of his patients hes fucked up!

  • I personally love the Heavy Rain back ground, Heavy Rain is a beautiful interactive drama game thing ;P

  • Loved the video, i did a quick check and i didn't see anything with Metal Gear.

It would be awesome if you did a spotlight to Big Boss or a review of mgs hd collection, Big Boss will be perfect for you're spotlight series.

I gotta thank Hyperbithero for showing me this awesome channel, definitely subscribing.

  • Cohen definitely reminds me of a few eccentric film makers, such as John Waters, Vincent Price, David Lynch, and maybe even Kubrick.

  • Good vid meg

  • Rapture, what an amazing place. Arcadia and Fort Frolic

are 2 of my favorite levels.

Sander Cohen, love him or hate him who can forget that section 8.

Great character review liked and subscribed.

  • would love you to review the metal gear solid hd collection...ps3

  • Keep the background. Heavy Rain is heavy.

  • The first time I heard The Wild Bunny radio diary, I was absolutely terrified. Disturbed by this man's sheer lunatic delusion. The fact that my (Jack's) life was in his hands was chilling. But on a strange level, listening to that diary... I wanted to help him. There is a desperation in everything he does, but I didn't understand why until you said it - to know he is understood. Unfortunately, a lifetime on the surface (and lots of ADAM use) have made that a tragic impossibility.

    Great Video!

  • Is it soo wrong that I find you utterly attractive not only for your beauty but ESPECIALLY for your INTELLECT and ARTICULATION!

    *sigh* <3 <3 lol ^_^

  • I love how thoughtful and insightful your critiques are, really getting to the root of what makes a character or story compelling. Most videogame reviewers seem to want to be comedians and, in the pursuit of the next gag, the actual content gets overlooked.

Games deserve analysis the same way we deconstruct and study films, TV and theatre and you really do that. Cheers!

  • I hope you have the Bioshock 2 collector's edition. Listening to Cohen's Masterpiece on a record player is quite remarkable. Great video! He is also one of my favorite characters from the horror genre.

  • Lol i wud not say Dali is like Sander Cohen. Dali was like a playboy. van gogh is an example of an unappreciated artist in his time and became popular only after his death.

  • I couldnt get into Bioshock and really wanted too ;(

But sounds like an interesting character!

4000 subs... WOW! Keep up the GREAT work ;o) x

  • sing a song!! you have to sing a song once you reach the 4.000 subscribers!! invent a funny one LOL

  • You should put together a video with clips from you playing games. You clearly know a lot but how do we know you are any good?

    Lets see some proof. :D

  • @Kawaiiprincess01

You going to the eurogamer expo in London this year?

  • Love the poster. Where did you get it?

  • I still have to finish Bioshock, but I do like the game of what I have played. Excellent video! And also congratulations about your subscribers! As for that video, maybe do a combination video? A Gamer Habit, Current Game Review, a Spolight video...?

  • Little moths made me giggle. :)

  • You know what to do: cut off the fringe! :P I enjoyed Bioshock but since it's been over 4 years since I played through it, I don't remember a whole lot from it apart from certain aspects like the twist that occurred and the world itself. I haven't even finished the 2nd one at all and just stopped playing it. But your insight to the madnewss that is Sander Cohen was interesting to listen to and I do remember his part, as he was a right nutter!

Background is fine to me, keep it if you like it.

  • I will make a confession here... I never played Bioshock... WOW I got that out of my chest, I know it is a sin. But I never got the time to play it :D And BTW, Do I need to play Bioshock 1 in order to understand what's going on in Bioshock infinite?

@Kawaiiprincess01 I think the background is better that the blank one. this gives more color to your videos.

  • I would respect and acknowledge that I would never want you to talk about anything personal. Just talking about subjects with regards to your past and how you got into video games. Also things that people may not know about you they would find surprising because in the end there is a unique and interesting person behind each gamer.

  • Congratulations on the recent accomplishment of 4000 subscribers. There isn't really anything I can add with regards to the bioshock discussion for the fact I haven't played it, but it is a game I'm interested in, but will probably play it when everybody has forgotten about it and moved on to something else.

With regards to your 4000 subscriber special, its easy to appreciate the channel for just video games alone, but I've personally been fond of seeing the person beyond the gamer.

  • you could do a video about ur own perfect videogame mixing characters, environments, storyline... from different games. That could be very very funny I think!!. Hope you like the idea.

  • Another great video! Have you read the Bioshock novel?

  • When I first played Bioshock, I got sucked into a crazy, twisted world that I never wanted to leave. The story, the characters.... unforgettable.

  • @TheUnforgiven676 Unforgettable indeed! Just can't wait for Infinite :)

    Thanks for watching!

  • I liked how his artistic endeavors were the theme for that section, the fact that he became obsessive to the point of applying them in a lethal manner. It made me feel a sense of fear through the whole section, and when he came out that fear was not knowing what to expect from the madman he'd become

  • @realsavage22 I agree! Fort Frolic is the artistic centre of Rapture and Sander Cohen is the king! :) He was a terrifying (and fascinating) character indeed. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Liking the new background! I did enjoy that character, loved the fact he went insane, also the fact that he had a resemblance to dali in his appearance. I'm an artist myself so in a strange way I found relation, not that i'm as insane as he was thats for sure but I do deal in a surrealist style mainly. Bioshock was definitely amazing for characters and designs, one of my all time faves! Good vid!

  • @realsavage22 Ah so you noticed it too! The first person that came to mind when Sander Cohen was introduced was Salvador Dali lol! Thanks very much for watching and commenting :)

  • You spelled epitomizing wrong.

  • @hetrogamr84 In Britain, epitomising is spelt with an s, the same rule applies to words like recognising, surprising and many more! :)

In America you would replace the s with z - as I'm sure know already, but thought I'd add it on there just to make sure lol xD

    Thanks for watching!

  • Listening to audio diaries was one of my favourite things in Bioshock, I felt connected to Sander Cohen and Dianne McClintock. Such a good game and hope the Audio Diaries are in and just as awesome in Bioshock Infinate.

  • @Lugalith They definitely fleshed out the story through the audio diaries in ways that the linear story never could! Picking one up was just like getting another tantalising taste into the wacky world of Rapture :p

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • The novel BioShock: Rapture helps flesh out Cohen and other denizens of Rapture prior to the first game. It's a really good read for all BioShock fans.

  • @McFool17 I wanted to buy the book, but having read a few excerpts via the Waterstones site, I wasn't too keen on the overall writing style. I may have to just suck it up and read it anyway but it put me off buying the book straight off :$

Thanks for watching and the recommendation!

  • You should do top 10 characters

  • @Aaas59 That's a great suggestion! Thanks mayte :)

  • For me, Sander Cohen is the mirror image of the psycopaths and serial killers up here on land. He's seemingly "just" a doctor with an "idea", but the idea turns into a nightmare. And, yeah, the music (brilliant as it is throughout the game) just adds to that feeling. I love Bioshock to death. The game has this disturbingly claustrophobic setting, the music is AWSOME and you're never safe anywhere. I must say that I was a little disappointed when I got Bioshock 2, though.

  • @eikind That is the perfect way to describe Bioshock: disturbingly claustrophobic! Kudos mayte, although I always found something eerily beautiful about the place too. The art deco style helped but dilapidated art deco was even more delightful :D

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Yes! I love it, I love heavy rain :) :) I watch your videos regardless if I've played the games they're about or not

  • @cablecar830 I'm glad you're liking the background :)

Awesome! I'm happy that they can still be enjoyed with or without prior knowledge of the game - thanks for watching!

  • I love how players can have different experiences and interpretations. I didn't feel compassion for him. He was completely insane to me. He had to pay for what he had done to those people. I felt it in my right to kill this maniac now. I didn't know what he was capable of later on. LOL. I agree with you, listening to the tapes you get a sense of though he was a bit bullied and hindered but still. I also loved that you mention the Theme. It is one of the most moving one i've heard in a while.

  • @SilentHillFreak101 Ahh but there's a difference between compassion and understanding. I get where his insanity spawned from and can identify with the feeling of creative insecurity, I killed him in-game without a moment's pause though lol! He's nuts!! I just wanted to explore his character in this video :)

Cohen's Masterpiece is indeed just that! Gary Schyman is a musical genius.

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Like the background, but come on, Meg, If I send you a HD video cam or something will you use it? You deserve to be seen in HD goodness. Youtube needs a chipin or something. :)

  • @TokyoCheese I'm on the hunt :)

  • A truly disturbing antagonist, lack of characters like him in the sequel is what make the original the superior game, I wonder if he is in the Bioshock prequel novel, Rapture. Love the Heavy Rain background, have yet to play the game since the Japanese version is censored and I'm having a hard time finding either the PAL or NA version.

  • @Dharoz Couldn't have said it better myself! I completely agree. Although 2 was a good experience I felt, it didn't quite live up to the first title.

You're having a hard time finding Heavy Rain on PAL or NA? That's weird, there are new copies all over the web - last time I checked that is. Have you tried Play . com? They are pretty good :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • cool poster!

But I think the white background makes the picture seem better/brighter

Great video, keep up the good work :)

  • @steveB3194 Hopefully when I get my cam situation sorted out the picture quality will improve and make it less... dark and grainy haha! Thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • Digging the background. Keep it.

    And great insights. :)

  • @Merlandese Awesome! Thanks for watching mayte :)

  • One of my favourite characters of all time (from one of my favourite game worlds of all time)!!! I'm not even exaggerating. :) Glad you put up a vid about him, he definitely deserves the recognition. I've even used Cohen's Masterpiece in some of my crazy acting pieces in school. ;) Annnnndd, I got an A! What can I say? My teachers absolutely adored the music! :p

  • @TigerFiction Hells to the yeah! Bioshock is definitely unique - here's hoping Infinite will be something to remember too. It's an awesome piece of music indeed, your teachers must have good taste lol xD

Thanks for watching and commenting m'dear!

  • Bioshock is truly one of my favourite games. It completely sucks you into the game, with a rich story and characters. I played it all the way through, harvested the 1st little sister and then cursed myself & never did it again.

When I finished it I ran straight out & bought 2 with every intention of playing it straight away. Unfortuneately the 1st of the train of new Lego games (Indiana II) stole my PS3 from me for a considerable time & I got distracted by other games.

    Congrats on 3000 subs!

  • @electricadventures It's a one-of-a-kind game alright! Does that mean you still haven't played 2 yet? It's very good, not quite as good as 1 but still worth a go :)

    Thanks maytie!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 No I still have not played it, but it is in the top 2 stack i.e. i will either play Uncharted 3 or Bioshock 2 next.

Also working out which PS2 title to play through next, lots of options to consider.

  • I loved the first Bioshock, Bioshock 2 was good also, but for me Bioshock was the best of the two, i liked the character "Atlas" in the first bioshock, a great video again enjoyed it!

  • @AzTheVideoGameNerd Ahh the voice of Atlas was great wasn't it? Great casting for all the voices. I prefer 1 also, but 2 was definitely enjoyable :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • For your subscriber video show some of your degree work, do you make games for it, or art or something? Iwas going to do a videgame design course but I was put off because it seamed very structured limiting creativity. Or just an idea you have for a game. I'd like a mmo g based on the thing where the players become infected.

  • @bummedkumquat I was studying games design at university yes, although I wouldn't feel too comfortable showing off my babies (a.k.a. precious ideas) to the web for all to see... or copy lol xD random artwork I COULD do!

Thanks for watching and leaving a suggestion :)

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Well maybe your favourite moments in games. One of mine is in deus ex where you get to kill an important character, and limbo with that machine gun bit. Limbo best game i've played in a while.

  • Well well well well Megatron you have done it once again! I love the Heavy Rain background because well it's Heavy Rain and I don't know anybody that doesn't love it and it also reminds me of the first video I ever saw of yours! I really enjoyed your thoughts on this video and completely agree with everything you said on this! Meg congratulations on achieving nearly 4000 subscribers! :) You deserve each and every single one of them Meg! ^__^ <3

  • @Rayof92 Gosh that's going back a bit isn't it haha! But you're right, it ties in with my Heavy Rain/YouTube roots - it fits perfectly xD

Thanks very much for the support Rayman!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Hahaha yeah I guess it is going back a bit but i'm really digging the background! xD You're very welcome Megatron and you know me i'll always support my number 1! ;)

  • Have not played Bioshock in years, im so starting a new game later.

  • @foely1 Rapture is certainly a great place to revisit... if not a little scary lol!

  • I love Sander too. He speaks to the artist inside me. I have not yet turned crazy and homicidal though. Maybe in time... Who knows?

  • @chenrikl He should be a warning to all creative personalities lol! "We all know you want to please with your ideas, but obsess too much and you'll be Sander Cohen in no time!" Haha! Thanks for watching :)

  • Loved the video as usual! Really glad youre making videos on a regular basis again!!! And the poster is cool too. Actually, maybe position it a little to the left (you're right) so that we can see it better :D

  • @c0le393 I'm happy you enjoyed it! It's great to be making videos regularly again :)

Thanks for the heads up about the poster position, I'll try and move it over a little so y'all can see the origami crane!

Thank you for watching and commenting :)

  • I'm not a little moth i'm a bee bzzzzz ok that makes no sense sorry.

  • @The8BitChampion No worries man, you gave it a shot! xD

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • dig the background, always good to change things up. good vid..can't wait for the next bioshock. WOOOO PIG SOOIE!

  • @henryblazer20 They do say variety is the spice of life :D

    Thanks for watching maytie!

  • I love everything Bioshock. Even number 2 which many people seemed to not like. Did you save the little sisters or harvest them when you played?

  • @cbert27 There were a lot of things I loved about 2, I still find Bioshock to be the best out of the two though... maybe because it was my first introduction to Bioshock. I could be biased lol!

I saved them, didn't have the heart to harvest. I adopted them in 2 as well :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • All I remember about sander cohen is firing a shotgun at him, lol.

  • @monkeyboy85 I hope it was in time to Waltz of the Flowers.

  • you're so cute when you ramble on and on. sorry :P

i liked the gameplay of bioshock, the art, and some of the ideas, but that story.. mah god. i want my life back. it was so bad.

  • @ShamanKingNoble Rambling? I though I was intellectually speculating in this video... oh who am I fooling, I was rambling lol!

Really? I thought the story was it's best feature. There was something about the idea of everyone's visions and ideas clashing together and causing Rapture's demise just drew me in.

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Thanks for watching and commenting!!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 haha you're so funny.

most of the story was your simple "would you kindly do this, would you kindly do that" mumbo jumbo. that was ok, i don't mind little quests, but the anti-climactic ending was a real punch in the crotch. i never felt enthralled by the back-story like i did with say.. FFX.

  • Both Bioshock games are pretty good but the 60's feels gives me the creeps, same goes with 'retro' Aperture Science in Portal 2.

Btw love the Heavy Rain background, definitely one of the best PS3 games I've played, same with Fahrenheit.

  • @evoGage Haha I've never thought about what time period scares me most xD

I'm glad you're diggin the background, now all I have to do is stop the light from bouncing off it somehow lol!

Thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 No problem :)

  • 4,000 Subs mean 4,000 People are interested in YOUR videos and are thinking about YOU. Congrats when you get that many. Maybe you should do a video that has something to do with YOUR life, maybe the average day in the life of Kawaiiprincess01?

  • @Wallyworld121212 Nope... still does not compute lol!

An average day in the life of me? My god, you'd all fall asleep :p

Thanks maytie for watching and commenting!

  • If you play Videogames, most of the time, you forgot that there is so much work in the development of plot and characters (at least.... at most of them, I hope!). However these Spotlight on are great. Keep on illuminate interesting people!

  • @vleinad12 I'm glad you like my 'Spotlight On' videos! Those smaller details and developments are the things that keep me interested and help me to suspend my disbelief :) After all the work that game companies do, I guess it's the only thing right now I can do to contribute is appreciate the small things lol!

Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Reading that back, I realise it makes little to no sense at all. Sorry - it's been a long day.

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 The Sense is hidden..But is there!

  • I'm not a moth... I'm an angel.

  • @TenkaFubu6192 Best. comment. ever.

  • Hmm great observations, do u like Dalí?

BTW i like your videos, i can identify with u very easely.

  • @KRRRX01 I do indeed. When I first saw his works I was frightened by what I saw - silly I know. Then I saw the swans to elephants painting and it changed my view entirely. His paintings still manage to disturb me a bit, but in the most beautiful way... a bit like Bioshock lol!

Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoy them! :)

  • Great video! Maybe next time you could do a spotlight on 'Sandy Cohen'. Laid back, bagel eating, lawyer extraordinaire... ... no?

  • @braze2032 Also known as Peter Callahan/the coma guy - sorry, I was a big fan of While You Were Sleeping n couldn't resist :p

  • Well covered. I overlooked a lot of things in Bioshock, I was drawn by the eerie atmosphere and background music. Game looks beautiful and unique looking.

  • @HutkiEntertainment It's so easy to get drawn into the beautiful world of Bioshock isn't it! It's definitely unique on many levels :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Wonderful game, and Sander Cohen was an awesome character. His levels were very creepy and intriguing. Cohen's Masterpiece is a very hauntingly awesome piece of music as well.

  • @jake5 Agreed on both counts! Gary Schyman is nothing short of a genius for creating such an impressive piece of music for this twisted character :)

    Thanks for watching!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Yes he is! I'll always watch your videos as fast as I can, even if it runs up my phone bill when a computer isn't available.

Also, since I forgot in the first comment, the Heavy Rain Poster is awesome! I wish I could print out or find one that size.

  • Really enjoyed this video Meg ^_^ Nice background - I like Heavy Rain too! But yeah, really great video! I love Bioshock, you made me want to revisit Rapture again :D

I'm afraid I can't give any suggestions for your 4k subscribers video though. If I do, I'll let you know :)

Keep up the good work, you're amazing!

  • @Thelifestyleculture It's a great verse to re-visit! :D

No probs maytie, thank you for watching and commenting!!!

  • Great video Meg!!! ^.^ And I like this background alot more. :D

  • @Metalgearfreak0906 Awesome-sauce - I'm glad you like the video and background! Thanks for watching and commenting :)

  • i love the retro 50s feel makes me want to be born back then and have slick back hair and a nice suit :3

  • @imisrael92 Ah like Fred Astaire once sang: On that famous thoroughfare, with their noses in the air. High hats and Arrowed collars, white spats and lots of dollars. Spending every dime, for a wonderful time!

Those were certainly the days to put on that ritz lol!! I just love the art deco style, Bioshock is definitely purty :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Ill never understand why our culture decided to move away from Art Deco and the glamour and elegant detail of the early to mid 20th century style of design, art and fashion .

Sander is one of my absolute favorite characters of all time... And Bioshock in my opinion... is the best game of all time.

  • I love hearing you talk about Bioshock. It was such an amazing story plot and very unique :DDD And Sander Cohen freaked me out lol

  • @zachisinwonderland Probably a good thing since I like to talk Bioshock a lot these days lol! Thanks for watching :)

  • Another great video Meg, and early congrats on your approach to 4000 subs! I'm not sure how mobile your recording setup is, but maybe you can do some sort of gaming-station/collection tour for the 4000 subs video, I always found those kinds of things to be entertaining. Also I think the new background looks great, the video really stands out now in contrast to the current YouTube layout.

  • @JGene87 Thank you so much! It's still not really hitting me yet lol xD

Thanks for the suggestion, I've been contemplating a house tour but I'm not sure how I'll manage it. I'm glad you like the background, I may keep it :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • noice

  • @DejaVUe7777 Thanks for watching mayte!

  • I never understood why people like BioShock so much. Personaly, I think the game looked really polished, but the gameplay itself felt like very medicore and linear.

But it's great that people found something that I might have missed from these games.

  • @Arppis Well yeah the gameplay wasn't very special. But what Bioshock is all about is the atmosphere. So that's what this game makes it so special for me!

    WontSleep

  • @MrWontSleep

Hehe, the biggest problem for me was the fact that the main character doesn't give a crap (aka. doesn't have voice actor). Good thing they fixed that in the next game, I never could get into a "atmosphere" when main character doesn't interact with the world(other than shooting and pushing switches)

  • @Arppis I thought that most elements in the game were very unique - even the gameplay- and polished, which is perhaps why many like it so much :)

I think it really triumphs in the story/character arena but taking on big daddies, harvesting little sisters, plasmids, Adam and Eve are all spins on classic mechanics. These unique touches, I feel anyway, makes Bioshock a special :D

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01

Haha, yes it is quite unique. I like the graphics of the game, I even liked Little Sisters and ending (good one) was one of the highlights of the game. Enviroments were beautiful... well at first, then they started to repeat itself.

Ah well, there are things I like about the game and I did finish it. But it isn't one of those games I look back at and think it's great. :)

And I love to listen people ramble about video games. Awesome! ^^

  • Bioshok 1 is still one of these games that let me wandering around and im interested in the place i am! And there are not so many that have this effect on me. It has the same charme as Silent Hill 1-3 (There was a hole here, its gone now). For shure on a different way, but the effect is the same!

On top of that, great video (there are that many videos that put the spotlight on side characters).

    WontSleep

PS: sry for my bad english

  • @MrWontSleep

i mean: (there are not that many videos that put the spotlight on side characters).^^

  • @MrWontSleep No worries, I got what you meant :)

  • @MrWontSleep The verse is definitely one-of-a-kind! It's dark yet colorful with just the right amount of quirk sprinkled in - and who doesn't like art deco? :p

Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoy my 'Spotlight On' videos!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 So true, other visual styles wouldn't be able to generate such a intense atmosphere. And to be honest, as a little child i watches different documentations about the 20-50's (with my parent). And my only thought to that time was "man they're have to be absolutely crazy". And guess what... since Bioshock i knew i was right:P!

    WontSleep

  • You put a lot more thought into that character than I ever did. I noticed what a creepy weirdo he was, but I just wanted to kill him and move on. As for the background, that poster is awesome, but there seems to be some glare on it from your light source. Congratulations on 4k subs - turns out that cute gamer chicks are really popular.

  • @Scorceror Rofl! Really? He totally captured me form the very beginning, I mean he tries to murder you to the Nutcracker waltz lol - gotta love theatrics :p

I'm glad you're diggin the background, I can't get rid of the light glare though unfortunately... I'll have to think hard for a way around that issue.

That's very nice of you, although I wouldn't really class myself under either category lol xD

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 You dont consider yourself to be cute? But I'm sure you know that kawaii is cute in Japanese. No need to be modest. For your commemoration video maybe you can do karaoke or a 'lets play' with commentary of one of your favorite parts of a game.

  • @Scorceror It does indeed! But I created this channel I was a teenager lol I'm lucky I didn't pick something like 'mylittleponylover' :$

Karaoke eh? I wouldn't put y'all through the horror! Thanks for the suggestions :)

  • oh yes I love the Bioshock series

  • @MrTechnoSqueek It's certainly a great series, Infinite isn't too far away now! :p

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 Yeah I can't wait I will be first in line for that by the way just wanted to let you know I do a podcast here on yotuube called Press Start Podcast if you don't know with Cliva "quickfreeze4" and Dan "nostalgicdan1" and we usually give a shout out to a random channel and the latest one is your channel We all really like your channel its very different than most people here on youtube.

  • nice video you should make your outakes videos longer their too funny ..... and also curious what games are you playing or planning on playing

  • @ACMC4E And to think I've been trying not to screw up in my videos as much, I should have just made more mistakes for a longer outtakes section lol! xD

Too many on both counts :)

    Thanks for watching!

  • Cohen is 'The Man!' Easily one of the most mentally divurgent, and hence best, characters on this gen of consoles! Great analysis and character dissection as always Meg, but I've come to expect nothing less! :-)

P.s. The Haunting (the Robert Wise version) is one of my favourite films EVER! They don't make 'em like that anymore unfortunately! God, I'm only 23 and already I'm sounding like my beyond-senile grandad! What's next, adult nappies?! (shudder) lol!

  • @Neighbourhoodballer Thanks mayte, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I always thought Sander Cohen was a unique character that had very understandable behaviours - though he's as nutty a fruitcake! xD

I totally agree, although the 90's version (though inferior in many ways) built suspense and story very well, it just unfortunately lost it all in the last half... a bit like Insidious :)

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Completely agree with you insight on Cohen. And for the love of all things holy,KEEP THE POSTER! lol.Looks awesome, and the game deserves any recognition it can get for its brilliance.

  • @ProRican09 Haha okay, it's done! I will keep the poster :p

I agree, the first Bioshock in particular was certainly one of a kind, I have to give my friend Beki all the credit though for showing it to me in the first place lol! This was back when it was an Xbox exclusive :)

  • Easily one of the greatest characters in gaming. The Sander Cohen level was so creepy and incredible. His character design was just perfect for the setting of Rapture and the era. Ken Levine and crew are so good at making characters and places that are bordering on the odd and insane but putting them in something more grounded in reality.

  • @MrDeathSmiles Ahhh Fort Frolic and his apartment was indeed an amazing location in-game! He reminded me of Dali in a strange way, and I cannot agree with you more about their knack for creating beautiful yet twisted characters :)

  • By far my favorite character in Bioshock. I'm really happy Bioshock is back in the capable hands of Levine.

  • @JackGordon86 Agreed, he was a *cut* above the rest HAHA! Get it? Oh dear... I just reached a new level of sad didn't I :p

    Thanks for watching!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01: *ba-dum-tsh* :D

  • I believe Ken Levine is a genius, I play Bioshock and everytime I have a chance to be in Rapture I am somewhat enriched...

  • @ngsoftwork I second that! I am still holding out hope for a game that goes over the fall of Rapture, I want to see the founding of Rapture's brightest and witness what exactly went wrong! :D

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 You know? I find that not knowing those bits is kinda fascinating. Not knowing is part of the story itself, if you thnk of it; I believe we will experience the same intense if not more experience in Bioshock infinite. Sorry to say this, but I didn't appreciate Bioshock 2 as much as the 1st one...and I can already see huuuuge potential within Infinite.

  • I like your videos but you really need to upgrade to HD.

  • @silvergreen333 Until I get a HD camera (and money) you will just have to put up with my grainy webcam - sorry, but money is a little tight these days... globally lol! :)

    Thanks for watching!

  • i mostly like all of your videos

but i tend to prefer your gamer habit and CRGR videos more

    hope this helps!

  • @abdelrrazak I'm sorry these videos are your least favourite, but it'll definitely be staying on my schedule. I just love to touch upon certain aspects of a game that I like or was particularly impressive :)

  • @Kawaiiprincess01

i usually like them more but i had no idea who/what you were talking about because i havent played the game so its kinda my fault xP

  • Meg do you like the Final Fantasy Series? :D

  • @Tricky0032 I haven't played them all by any means, but the titles I have played I enjoyed very much - 13 being the exception, which was a bit of a disappointment :)

  • @Kawaiiprincess01 agreed, FF9 is my favorite :)

  • btw i liked the white background better just because of the contrast

the dark background in combination with your dark shirt felt a bit weird to look at

but if you put a lighter coloured shirt on i dont mind the darker background xD

  • @abdelrrazak Ahhh okay, thanks for the heads up!

*Noted: no dark shirts with dark backgrounds xD

    Thanks again!

  • Still havent played any bioshock game

pfff too much games and no time :(

  • @abdelrrazak I know that feeling! :)

The Bioshock games are pretty unique though, so they are definitely worth a play at some point - even if it's a looooong time from now haha!

  • I love Cohen! Bioshock is one of my favorite games of all time. Great video and love the new background! Heavy Rain is really amazing.

  • @alunarflowerlulluby Me too, I wish there were more unique characters out there like him! I'm glad you like the background, thanks for watching :)

  • The Heavy Rain poster is awesome.

  • @WeEatBrainz Glad you like it! Thanks for watching :)
