the closest he played was in san francisco on a school night though. so it would've only been worth the drive for an interview. in bay area traffic it would've taken 3 to 4 hours to get to the venue during rush hour, then 2 to 3 to go back home after the show. it would've been like 2am by the time we got home.

and i should have a reply back back about the lights cds tomorrow.

i'll do anything from top 3 to top 10 depending on how many people participate. there's no number that will guarantee a CD. you'll be notified by email. i highly recommend not sending your email right now though since you may be able to gather up a lot more between now and the 24th.

don't worry, i do a pretty good job regulating it. if an account was created the day they subscribed and they haven't put anything on their channel or logged in since then i don't count it, and if the same person submits multiple of those they get completely disqualified.

we'll see what people come up with. the more you get the safer you'll be though. last time i did this contest the top 3 was 75, 30, and 25. so this time it could be more or it could even be less, i won't know until i get the emails from people.

if you're trying to think of other ways to get people to subscribe, you could find other videos of music related stuff and youtube and leave a comment mentioning BVTV, post something on a music news forum like absolutepunk, etc. =]

you don't necessarily have to know the people you get to subscribe, you could post on a forum, or ask people that you find a similar channel to come check out bvtv, etc. there's lots of ways to do it. =] subscribers are really important right now and the best way to get people to spread the word is to reward them for it, so this is the best way to do it.
