I still can't believe this was made before custom music was heard of here in the states. Did you know that (I forgot the author of this hack) made all the music through raw code? Yep, it's without a program (maybe he used xkas, but I doubt it), but either way it was and still is very, very impressive. He even made all the custom sprites (including the Blooper, Boss Bass, all the generators, etc. as seen in other versions) by himself before mikeyk / others stepped in. Still my favorite rom hack!

I think pretty much all of the sound effects are taken from other SNES Mario games, or lots of stuff that was already in the game, it's mostly the hacked in music that would be the most notable hack as far as sound

that's his programmed attack pattern, the more you fail to hit him, the more you have to survive it until you get a chance to hit him, eventually it gets simple enough you memorize it and can dodge it perfectly every time, it changes when he gets down to a little under half his HP though
