N.E.R.D. isn't quite mainstream, but I wouldn't consider it underground. This is great, to me at least.. well because I don't have random girls who don't take the artistry seriously singing it in their cars with their pink sunglasses, but I don't have to listen to hipster fags talk about how cool they are for knowing about a good song that's only been heard by like 1000 people.

I just get to enjoy it with the people who enjoy it for what it is :)

ok, N.E.R.D is famous but they arent super mainstream which in my opinion is great. Better they arent where people like Waka flacka, gucci, and soulja boy are seen where their music isnt appreciated. NERD, kid cudi and other artists who make music that actually have an affect on people and dont constantly talk about swag, money and hoes are musical artists to me.
