When I first saw this video I hated it that you trashed on the NXE but the more I look at it and think about your right. Microsoft is making the 360 more kiddy like the PS3. I think Microsoft would have been better making the update keeping the Dashboard the same but no Avatars and keep all the new features because the party feature kicks ass. Because of this update I wish I had PS3 even more!

The NXE is actually very good. The avatar is unnecessary at worst. You don't have to mess with it at all, but what makes it great is how much more organized it is, The marketplace was a mess. Now you can browse much better. And it's not nearly as boring as the old DB or even the PS3's interface, or as kiddy & graphically weak as the wii's. Plus you can now install your games on the harddrive just like the PS3, except you can choose to do so, plus the party chat system is just kickass.

I don't think so. NXE is a system update, it's essentially a new operating system for the 360, or at least a new shell. It IS a little better, more organized and what-not. If there IS a way to revert back to the old dash I would advise against it. that would actually be a violation of the Terms of Service for Xbox Live and your 360 and could get you banned because it would be considered modding. The only thing you can really do is try and get used to it, unfortunately."

1.Go to HDD,click FORMAT.

2.Then play any 360 game that came out from November 22,2005 to November 18,2008.

3.Your 'old' Dashboard is there.
