@JDeckin1296 if thats your logic than non of these cars are wht they used t be. this civic has very ordinary modifications to it. the only out of the norm things are the parachute and other saftey equiptment required by the track. the fastest dsm is built on a tube chassis but this is the original honda shell. so actually this is more original that a lot of purpose built drag cars

also, not to fuel the fire but if you take a bone stock 5.0 foxy and a bone stock EG and drop $4K into them, the fox will rape in the 1/4 and the eg will corner better if the moneys put into the suspension. in the end, cars are just personal taste and I really dont get the whole "I hate that certain genre of car" shit. any car can be cool or fast with the right work.

@LilApe whatever dude, the reason why honda makes sport 4 cylinder engines is because its more reliable and easy to fix at the track and is extremely lightweight. they make good balanced cars that can be quick and have superb handling characteristics. a V8 can be as fast as it wants on the straightaway, but the suspension tuning is horrible!

It Still a Civic, when the CHASSIS used is sold as a CIVIC, and the engine you put in comes in some Civic sold.... The fact of RWD, doesn't make it a "Non-Civic", because there are a couple of street projects that are converted to RWD, and still have they Factory Engines..

PD: Corvette Engines, on Civic Chassis, meets your argument, that AREN'T Civic..
