Those people had previously asked me if they would be in my way standing there. I thought that a group standing waving at the passing train would not deter from the last few seconds of my clip, in fact may well add that little difference.

I like the "human interest" in the closing shot, and at Scout Green. Shows that even people who wouldn't look twice at a Pendolino or Voyager will stand out in all weathers for steam.

Thanks Andrei, some of those people who are in the first shot at Acton Bridge are also there in the last one at Hartford. They are at either station for every steam hauled train through and for light engine movements as well, ans as you do not bother with anything else.

Thanks scruffwood but when the rain is coming near horizontal there's not a lot you can do to protect the lens. Typical Shap weather.

But a spotty shot with that sound is better than non at all....
