It's extremely interesting to read the Wikipedia version of the October surprise theory, especially since there's been considerable questioning of whether government agencies might be playing a role in editing Wikipedia.
Anyone can edit it. It maybe Government agency (I mean our history books are pretty watered down >_>;) or some idealistic who cannot except the truth.
Random Example: Judy Garland died on a toliet. People would edit wiki to something like... the toliet was closed. Or just say Judy Garland died in the bathroom. Simply because they don't like the idea.
Wiki is definitely govt controlled. Just try making any edit on any topic that contradicts the overall 'impression' intended by the article. Total freak out by all kinds of bureaucratic minds who busily manage reality for all of us.
