  • i found this on limewire 2 weeks ago im 45 yrs old and have never heard of this song till now and i have a very large collection of odd songs thanks 4 posting this

  • Please can someone let me know which CD this stereo version came from? I have a 45rpm record of Adam singing this in French, but in mono.

    Many Thanks

    Paul..

  • I think the dude wearing sunglasses is Russ Ballard, the fantastic songwriter who moved on to Argent.

  • correct

  • Watch Adam Faith in Beat Girl too bad they censured the DVD version still a good movie esp. the music. Culture Freak

  • my mom had this 45 when I was growing up in the 70's. She used to play all of the 45's each Saturday night.

  • Russ Ballard is also playing the harmonica.

  • This song appeared on K-Tel's Best of Britain album, released at Christmas time 1974.

  • Yes, I still have that album. But they left off The Roulettes name. The correct billing was "Adam Faith and The Roulettes". It was the first time I had heard this song in stereo. So nice to see a photo here of The Roulettes backing him up.

  • someone get me an mp3 for this?

  • Shame this track wasn't included on the soundtrack of Good Morning Vietnam - But then he's a Brit and wouldn't what that would we!

  • The Mindbenders, The Searchers and Them were all featured on the soundtrack.

  • This is my favorite song from Adam Faith. He's so great!

  • Great tune backed by the Roulettes featuring Russ Ballard on lead guitar !

  • These guys were great! Who wrote this song?

  • The song was written by Andrews. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that this was Chris Andrews. He wrote several Sandie Shaw hits and had a couple himself, if it is the same man.

  • Yes, it is Chris Andrews - he wrote a few songs for Adam and The Roulettes.

For those interested, the personnel in the above picture are, l to r: John 'Mod' Rogan -bass, Adam Faith, Russ Ballard - guitar, Peter Thorpe - guitar and Bob Henrit - drums.

  • I know this wonderful song since 1974, a friend had the single!

  • It's Alright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
