OK, I know I was the last person to comment but I just had to come back and say this; The hardest part of the binding for me has always been the corners and the joining. I just finished my first binding today using your instructions Sharon and I have never had a more perfect or beautiful binding in the 4 years I have been quilting. Your instructions and the method you use are AWESOME!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have taken the pain out of binding.
You have given me a whole new way to do a perfect binding. Your videos are awesome! You give such detailed instructions that you make it easy. Thank you so much.
I LOVE the finishing of the binding - gluing the 45 to make sure the binding finishes without any buckles. I'm not one for taking my time, but I am going to emplement these techniques. They are fabulous!
Sharon, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Your instructions are the best. Every time I bind a quilt I refer back to your video and watch it again (just to be sure that I don't miss any steps). You are an amazing and talented quilt teacher.
I'm back again to view the 2nd and 3rd videos. It been awhile since I binded anything. Had to review the binding lesson and add more to my notes. Now I know what some gals have their pcs in their sewing room. Thanks again for such a clear and simple directions. Love your videos.
Wonderful method and brilliant explanation Sharon! The great production values and careful presentation really helped get the information across clearly. Thankyou!
thank you, thank you Sharon! I am a new quilter. My previous quilt had wonky/wavy binding, or in other words, they were bad. I tried your method on a 15" x 15" square before I braved a real quilt. My girlfriend thought I went to the lqs and had them put the binding on it looked so good. I don't have a pc in my sewing room, so I take notes and come back and watch the video again. thanks so much for making this method so clear.
I thought I knew how to bind a quilt. Thanks for making is so much easier! I know my quilts will bind up so nicely now, and I won't be pulling my hair out trying to get it flat and straight. Thanks!
Once again Sharon exceptional presentation, demonstartion and explanantion, it is better than any class that I have attended. Thank you for sharing and teaching!
