  • she mentioned at a concert back in 1999 that she really does not like performing outside...since then I've heard her say that again a few times.

  • I was here at the concert as well, i dont think they expect LA in August to be so cold, ive never seen my grandma wear heels, and do what Patti does when she was Patti's age. Im 25, I never got to experience Patti in her prime but theres hundreds of videos on youtube i can watch. If you take an ex olympian sprinter at 65 and have him compete in the next olympics, it would be a joke! Patti may not be in her prime, but vocally she can still compete against the best thats out now. Be thankful

  • I don't care what yall say. . . miss patti is a souljah gurl!

  • yeah my baby cold o mama patti

  • Wow I hope Patti is ok, The last couple concerts she had she has gotten no so good reviews, one place even said they will never invite her back. I love her so Much,

  • WONDERMUS!!!

  • I was at the concert too. Miss Patti came out in top form as ususal, but it was FREEZING at the Hollywood Bowl. The old gal never "took flight" like she normally does. By the end of the show she was wearing a dress, a pair of pants, a blanket, wool gloves and slippers. But she tried to hold it together for her fans. About 10,000+ people were int he audience that night.

  • I love patti but I dont go to see her anymore because she dosent give you what she used to give you in the past, its not her fault its just age,she out lasted all of the rest ,she is still good I must tell you, I just want her to sing that song like she did in 1989 and I dont think that possible!!!

  • You just contradicted yourself big time, you stopped seeing her because she doesent give the people what they want? BUT, you said its not her fault?? I wish she could bust out onstage singing the spirits in it like the first time i was her live when i was 8, but people age, things change....

  • you dont understand! See I remember standing in front of her live in 1966 it was 4 of them at that time Cindy was still there with them, she song youll never walk alone, her voice was so strong and pure I had tears in my eyes I had never heard some one sing like that in my life at that time,I had the chills for like 3 days my gosh!!!!

  • Yea true, i just had to come to realize that she cant get all the way down like she uesd to, and i know she dosent do good in the cold, or hot weather. I saw her in 86 when i was a kid, and she had me onstage with her and she did her thing. But yea, shes older now, but as long as she can still sing its all good.

  • You know what I remember someone saying that they saw her in concert once and were so blown away that they couldn't stop crying for three days.

  • WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE :-)

  • you realized you s aid you saw her twice with in 23 years and she killed it, thats a blessing in itself... i didnt have the opportunity to see her until this concert here, i feel like i was robbed of the opportunity because im just too young to have been there earlier, but im blessed to have heard her at all!!!

  • maybe not but better than alot of these singers out here . She is a senior citizen now . LOL . I think it was really good . and she held the hell out that note . sounds like she may have been hoarse and lost her voice somewhat. She was singing in falsetto alot, she still rules though at 64.

  • Im the biggest straight Patti Labelle fan ever and it seems like she wasnt feelin it last night

  • NOT her best performance...

  • not at all
