    Emilio C. Aquino.

  • i remember Jose Abad Santos! and Pepito, his son. A real Hero.

  • dayuum d war was really that horrible that until now the soldiers were still having strong emotions about it, hmm God bless the filipino and american soldiers for they risjedtheir lives saving the Philippines. saludo po ako sa inyo

  • It is my firmest belief that if these soldiers were not ordered to surrender, they would have died to the last man. It pains me to see an old warrior weeping as he tells stories about his war...Though I was no there, my love for country makes me feel I understand what he must be feeling...

  • those soldiers should have fought till last men instead of being torture till death

  • @eastern2western they had nothing to fight with and no food. that is why they surrendered. no ammo, no food--how do u fight?

  • @eastern2western watch back to bataan or the movie MacArthur.

  • @kimpunkrock if I had a choice between torture ti death or starve till death, I would much rather fight till death because it is just a much less torturous, even without any bullets, I would fucken take up rocks and sticks to kick some ass

  • @eastern2western I would have done the same thing, took to the hills and formed guerrilla movements. I was just explaining why they were ordered to do it.

  • @kimpunkrock yes I see your point, but if those soldiers knew about the japanese treatments of their prisoners of war, I am sure that most of them would much rather fight till death instead of being torture for 3 years, this is what I would do if I knew about the end results,

  • I can't help myself from hating the Japanese though I wasn't born at that time.

  • Excellent documentary about some bonafide heroes and their sacrifices, thanks

  • the pilipina girl that was told here is an old woman looking for someone among the prisoner's, when she did'nt find what she's looking for, she started throwing food's on the prisoner's. the POW's tries to stop her in doing that but she just smiled and continued to throw some food. when she got home the japs followed her and bayoneted her to death.

  • There was also a story told by an American soldier, who was among the POWs marching. He saw a Filipino family - a husband, his wife a their 3 or 4 year old baby - standing in their front yard as the prisoners were marching in the streets. Then all of the sudden, two Japanese soldiers took their baby, threw her/him in the air and then used the bayonet to catch the baby. It was terrible what the Japanese soldiers did at that time. The family were left weeping for their child. May God Bless them.

  • damnnn thats gots da sadest tune playing in the backgroung wen the voice of freedom anouncent the fall of bataan
