@1UTOP If you mean the kickstart rom, I think it was 500+ one, but I couldn't tell you where to get it, not because of it's legal issues, but because I can't remember. It's been so long since I made this video sorry :(

@PiesAreBlueGuy Hey man, I am desperate for a bit of help here. Not sure if it's my T.V or what, but even when I choose the 'correct aspect ratio' option, I still have some of the screen missing with some games. I can play Ruff n Tumble Just fine. But when I play Project X, the screen cuts of the bar at the top and bottom that shows your weapons and points. Same issue with Alien Breed 92, can't see my health and keys etc. Do you have this problem with any games? Cheers.

I have a few questions which may sound stupid!

I've downloaded the files but not sure what I do with them? Do I have to purchase a memory card to play them or put them on disk

The homebrew channel thing, I can never connect my wii to the internet, does that matter?

I have thousands of Amiga games on my PC so it won't be too much of a prob getting ahold of games

You will need a memory card to run the homebrew files and Amiga games. Some homebrew emulators let you put the files on a disk, but the one I have used in the video does not, and you will need a sd card anyway to install the homebrew channel.

You do not need to connect your Wii to the Internet to use/install the homebrew channel, but if you do have it connected you will get a pop up message whenever there is a new homebrew channel update, and it will download it straight to your Wii.

Is the sound emulation actually smooth and accurate? Or is it just this video? Because I've tried both the Dreamcast and the PSP versions of UAE and both have pretty big problems with sound and speed - in my opinion you can't really enjoy neither.

Other than a Windows PC (and obviously an actual Amiga), what machine has a fully smooth version of UAE??

Yeah the sound is not perfect for this emulation, for some reason when I recorded it seemed to 90% perfect. Its normally a bit faster.

From what Ive seen from other youtube videos I can say the sound and speed is better than PSP's.

There is a new Amiga emulator on the Wii you should try that instead, but I haven't tried it so I don't know if its any better but I hear its a improvement from this one.

@samsamba08 The Xbox is the console you want for Amiga emulation. I cannot stress enough how amazing it is. I much prefer it to even the PC version of WinUAE as it has 50hz on a CRT TV and it looks and sounds identical to the real deal. If you are serious about Amiga emulation then I would look into an Xbox.

you have to change the kick13.rom to kick.rom for it to boot, right? so what do you when you need to use the amiga1200? do you manually replace the kick.rom with the amiga1200 one? bit stupid that.

never mind, i found the option to change the kick roms in the menu of v2. shame some of the games won't load and shame the text is all messed up and weird in the load menus and the sound is all messed up in body blows

Superfrog looks fun. Can't wait until it's out at the end of this month.

But seriously though, advertising is bad and Superfrog should know better than to drink Lucozade.

Lol oh yeah :D can't wait. coincidence indeed.

Superfrog becomes Super becuase of the Lucozade, but this is a demo and has way more advertising than the actual game.
