This song drives me nuts. How come he says "chook-a train?" Combining the onomatopoeia with the rest of the lyrics is just so weird; for some reason it rubs me the wrong way. Wow, I haven't heard this song in about 30 years (age 6 or 7) from Captain Kangaroo. Wish I could see that original steam engine video fro the song used on the show. However, this is fantastic as well. Love the random Mexican song ending and interesting how Hammond's voice now reminds me of Noddy Holder from Slade, especially the ending.
