le mans é o bixo... e esses carros tem mais potencia que os F1 sim, f1 quer dizer 1cv para cada Kilo de peso, essas naba tem uma razao muito maior de peso/potencia. Se olhar os videos de lemans vai ver que as corridas sao muito mais emocionantes.. F1 é legal, mas ta muito comercio mesmo.

i think the V6 downscale is a good idea.. we are still going to see fast paced race.

It's more safe, and as mentioned in the video, it creates technology for production engines..

Yes, it's too bad those idiots in F1 don't realize it's the way of the future, and the new 1,6litre 4 cylinder turbo rule with pretty much free hands for the engineers to come up with additional power using clean energy should be welcomed rather than critisized. As long as the racing is fast and close, nobody in their right mind would bother if it's V12's or turbocharged 4-cylinders.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans this year is on the weekend of June 11 - 12. I believe that it is hosted every year in the 2nd weekend of June ????

Don't worry. Its this Saturday and Sunday. June 11th and 12th. They cover it on speed channel in the USA and Speedtv . com It starts 8:30 am EDT on the 11th.

@revorocks123 I completely agree all at the rate ACO is downsizing engine pretty soon we will be seeing 0.5 liter v2 engines at le mans. and the cars will probably reach an earth shattering 65 mph on the mulsanne. I guess lowering top speed and concern about emissions is more Important than performance: the whole point of motorsports.

I disagree. That is by far the ugliest coupe I ever seen and I'm a huge fan of Audi. Peugeot's 908 was much nicer. I wonder if they considered overheating issues with this car. Those side pod radiator openings are a little small. 0:49. Really worried this year if this is the best they can do.

also the handling on this bad boy - with the bulky wheel covers - hate to say it, but I don't know - it's a drastic change from the open tops - maybe that's why I'm concerned - however something just does not seem right about it. If they can win with this car, I'll shut up and learn, but as an engineer, this is not the direction I would have went with the coupe.
