  • @electricragtime Hey Kev, thanks for the nice comments and for taking a listen.

  • brilliant playing on this classic, love Kottkes music

  • Wow, very nicely done!

  • Yeah, I think your disclaimers about disconnectedness and such are totally unneccesary. Great phrasing, great tone, and a pleasure to watch. Thanks for uploading!

  • @parklane19 Thank you for the nice comments and for taking a listen.

  • Superb! When Leo retires,I'm comin' to see you,Chris!

  • Congratulations Chris, sounds wonderful!

  • Great sound. Keep up the good work!

  • Awesome job!

  • Great job, Chris!

This one's a tour-de-force all right, but you really kept the momentum & big tone going all the way through - I really enjoyed your performance & thanks for posting!!

    Cheers, Steve.

  • I really enjoyed this, good work!

  • Congrats on a milestone. This is indeed very impressive playing, Chris. I don't hear any disconnect at all; it really seems to flow from your fingers. It is encouraging that mere mortals can conquere a piece like that. Well done!

  • @birkenweg42 Thanks Christian

  • CONGRATULATIONS!! Shows that persistence and practice does indeed pay off. The Leo tune that inspired me to try to learn a few of Leo's songs. Figured if I could play this then maybe the rest would follow. Not really true as each tune presents new obstacles to overcome and new techniques to learn. That's why there's only one "Leo". And I'm so nervous in front of people or a camera, it makes me sick. Anyway, very well done and sounds good. Thanks,

    Joel

  • Good job Chris!

@Methos06wd...."And I know exactly what you mean about playing in front of the camera. There's a name for it I'm sure, hah."

Yep, it's called "Red Light Fever". ;-)

    Rgds,

    Joe Carpenter

  • Love it!

  • Very impressive playing on of one my fav's.

Actually you'd also tag 'impossible guitarplaying' on to your labels. Kudos!

  • @klarifoon Thanks for the positive comment my YT friend.

  • Congratulations Chris with this Magnum Opus! You not only play this complex piece very well, but you're also champion in the catagories precision and persistence!

  • @bertbouw Thanks Bert, I saw you work on "Lucky One", great stuff. I bought that transcription to but got discouraged from the start.

  • @CFLanger Anybody who masters "Times Twelve" can play just about anything I'd say!

  • @bertbouw I would not exactly call what I recorded as "mastery", but I worked hard on it and I think it's pretty good. It's a fun tune.

  • Great!!! You're at like 99% mastery on the hardest and most complex Leo song that I can think of!!! Good stuff. And I know exactly what you mean about playing in front of the camera. There's a name for it I'm sure, hah

  • @Methos06wd Thanks, Youtube friend.
