FYI, Curtis Lee is from Yuma, AZ. He married the sister of one of my brothers good friends. Curtis got into the home building business and has done really well in Yuma. He still lives there. He and his wife have been married for a number of years. They are GOOD PEOPLE....
glad to hear he is doing well........... Curtis should have had a much bigger impact on the music scene. Along with his Rock n' Roll, he could handle a Country song really well, such as.................... "Does He Mean That Much To You" ....... I have 11 of his songs in my favourites, and I am sure I have not heard most of his recordings, his songs are very difficult to find.
You know, I thought Curtis Lee was such a versatile singer, he did some great songs, in a number of different styles, sometimes he even sounded like Ricky Nelson, but he dropped right off the radar, I would love to hear anything he sang, his songs are impossible to find.
" Pretty little angel eyes " was the Curtis Lee's only song that was known in Chile. It came to the first place in November, 1961.
Nevertheless, the song to that now I listen is very beautiful, also.

On my radio trivia show I played a song by Curtis Lee tonight. I had two callers who were convinced the singer was Ricky Nelson.
