@ImTheFinGBest nope the EVO and STI has a more powerful engine than the SRT4, because the Evo and Sti has more than 230 hp which the SRT4 has, the Evo has 290 hp and all wheel drive the Sti has 305 Hp and all wheel drive. so check the specs of all evo sti and srt4 in internetautoguide. The Evo and STI are faster than the slow SRT4s. all wheel drive Evo and Sti vs 2wd SRT4.
@USSVoyager5 Ok, I thank you for not being a douchebag back like I was lol, Here are the specs 2011 subaru sti 0-60 5.2 sec, 2011 evo 0-60 4.8-5.0, msrp on both is between 33-37 thousand and that is gonna depend on how fast the car will ultimately go a fully loded car w/ auto is always slower. 2003-2005 srt4 0-60 is 5.3 sec and they are lighter than the 2 opposing vehicles, with that being said they only impose a pricetag of betweeen 5-9 thousand on average, look at all your freed up finances

most people will agree that its easier to make power with a v8 but!!! if u have a little 4 cylinder and beat the big v8 its so much more fun then when a v8 beats a 4 cylinder its not always about power its power to weight a 350hp v8 that weighs 3600lbs has 0.09hp per pound but a 210hp 4 cylinder that weighs 1800lbs has 0.11hp per pound its the same reason why it takes a around an 800hp car to beat a 1000cc sportbike
@jlyons18 its not gonna run with a 30psi srt-4 if its only making 400 on spray theres no way in hell 1) that would mean its a stock camaro with nothing but spray in which case the first run it woulda been completely destroyed 2) that srt-4 is making around the 500 whp mark on 30 psi so i can see the camaro at 600 on spray

@lilkdude8687 stock srt-4 is under 3k, I dailied one for 3 years before I got my evo8. How do you think 4cyl's keep up with v8's? simple logic, massively under weight. The v8's are bigger and heavier, that's how it evens out. The SRT team was able to achieve such great numbers with the SRT-4 because 1.) the engine is lighter and 2.) the vehicle (which is why they chose the neon platform) is lighter then most other cars they had at their disposal.
@lilkdude8687 I don't know why it would even say anything like that, but running mine on a dyno and modding it myself, I knew exactly what my curb weight was with and without me and my tools in the car. With me and my tools in the car it showed a weight of something like right around the 3100 range, something like 3094 to be more precise, iirc. So theres a mistake with your info, but I can guarantee with everything, that the car is no where near the camaros weight much less any where near 3800.

this reminds me of the ford rs200 way back when in rally races.they used a 2.0l all forged internals engine with an aluminum block pushing like 30-40psi of boost, but they said the bad side was they would only get like 10hrs out of each engine and have to throw it away and start over.btw they ran like 500hp
@paladain55 SRT4s arnt aluminum blocks. there steel and the two piece design makes them fairly strong for a stock motor. internals are forged and stock(with a good tune of course) they'll hold 500-550hp stock

@The572camaro 5k maybe. I've got about 1500.00 into my srt4 and i took it from 230hp to over 300hp. They are very easy to extract power from. Im still on the stock turbo too.

Also, it takes so much more time, money and work to make an SRT-4 fast compared to an LS1 and then the SRT4 runs into all kinds of traction problems. LS1 camaro is a better car.

@RandySRT You do realize what forced induction is right?!? It aids motors in "displacing" more air then they normally would ingest. So there is NO replacement for displacement weather it be done with cubic inches, boost, or a chemical enhancement.
And of course nitrous cars need the bottle. If they are tuned to run the bottle (and on a 150 shot you do need to adjust timing and use colder plugs) they will run like crap N/A.

@glareofspace Turbos dont "come with 30psi". The levels of boost can be adjusted via a wastegate, boost controller, or computer. I can make my stock turbo go way over 30 psi if i want it to. Its not going to hold up to the pressure and temperature because it wasnt designed to run that high. Also, turbos arent that expensive, especially when the car is already set up for it. You can a larger turbo for only a couple hundred bucks and just bolt it on and tune it. Very simple actually.

so aaa what trans does the srt-4 have cause my buddy has and had an srt4.. the one he had blew the trans and it was on 18 psi and he had to buy a new input shaft. im thinkin the camaro has intake and exhaust and about 375 hp. people hate on ls1's but there badass engines after they get off the line lol.

@abduran77, I fail to see your point in removing a 'couple of cylinders' out of a v8. Then it'd be a v6, alot of newer v8s are making 400+ hp. Granted the one in this video is an lt1 which stock make 276hp. The best turbo i've heard of, STS turbo. gave a ls1 camaro (stock hp - 319) with a single turbo @ 8 psi gave it 509 hp. --190hp gain from a turbo on a v8 car.

@ImTheFinGBest nope the EVO and STI has a more powerful engine than the SRT4, because the Evo and Sti has more than 230 hp which the SRT4 has, the Evo has 290 hp and all wheel drive the Sti has 305 Hp and all wheel drive. so check the specs of all evo sti and srt4 in internetautoguide. The Evo and STI are faster than the slow SRT4s. all wheel drive Evo and Sti vs 2wd SRT4.

@USSVoyager5 Ok, I thank you for not being a douchebag back like I was lol, Here are the specs 2011 subaru sti 0-60 5.2 sec, 2011 evo 0-60 4.8-5.0, msrp on both is between 33-37 thousand and that is gonna depend on how fast the car will ultimately go a fully loded car w/ auto is always slower. 2003-2005 srt4 0-60 is 5.3 sec and they are lighter than the 2 opposing vehicles, with that being said they only impose a pricetag of betweeen 5-9 thousand on average, look at all your freed up finances

most people will agree that its easier to make power with a v8 but!!! if u have a little 4 cylinder and beat the big v8 its so much more fun then when a v8 beats a 4 cylinder its not always about power its power to weight a 350hp v8 that weighs 3600lbs has 0.09hp per pound but a 210hp 4 cylinder that weighs 1800lbs has 0.11hp per pound its the same reason why it takes a around an 800hp car to beat a 1000cc sportbike

@lilkdude8687 stock srt-4 is under 3k, I dailied one for 3 years before I got my evo8. How do you think 4cyl's keep up with v8's? simple logic, massively under weight. The v8's are bigger and heavier, that's how it evens out. The SRT team was able to achieve such great numbers with the SRT-4 because 1.) the engine is lighter and 2.) the vehicle (which is why they chose the neon platform) is lighter then most other cars they had at their disposal.

@lilkdude8687 I don't know why it would even say anything like that, but running mine on a dyno and modding it myself, I knew exactly what my curb weight was with and without me and my tools in the car. With me and my tools in the car it showed a weight of something like right around the 3100 range, something like 3094 to be more precise, iirc. So theres a mistake with your info, but I can guarantee with everything, that the car is no where near the camaros weight much less any where near 3800.

this reminds me of the ford rs200 way back when in rally races.they used a 2.0l all forged internals engine with an aluminum block pushing like 30-40psi of boost, but they said the bad side was they would only get like 10hrs out of each engine and have to throw it away and start over.btw they ran like 500hp

Point being a 350 is a baby engine compared to the big blocks and srt4 has half a engine of a camaro and still put it down on it. Also, it takes so much more time, money and work to make an SRT-4 fast compared to an LS1 and then the SRT4 runs into all kinds of traction problems. LS1 camaro is a better car.

@RandySRT You do realize what forced induction is right?!? It aids motors in "displacing" more air then they normally would ingest. So there is NO replacement for displacement weather it be done with cubic inches, boost, or a chemical enhancement.
And of course nitrous cars need the bottle. If they are tuned to run the bottle (and on a 150 shot you do need to adjust timing and use colder plugs) they will run like crap N/A.

@glareofspace Turbos dont "come with 30psi". The levels of boost can be adjusted via a wastegate, boost controller, or computer. I can make my stock turbo go way over 30 psi if i want it to. Its not going to hold up to the pressure and temperature because it wasnt designed to run that high. Also, turbos arent that expensive, especially when the car is already set up for it. You can a larger turbo for only a couple hundred bucks and just bolt it on and tune it. Very simple actually.

@icdeademopeople it's called a turbo's intake upgrades, cams, headers there are alot of way's to build horsepower but if you took the same turbo setup intake set up ect and put it on a engin with more displacement the larger engin would build more horsepower like god is it that hard to figure out straight up there is NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT all there is is addons and i forgot to say funnycars also have 8000HP with 8 Cyl

@crazyskier540 you can make anything have any amount of power you want as long as you can have the money to go along with it...im not argueing the fact of displacement they have v12 to as well as 32 piston airplane engines you beat him by a car and your happy 400hp is 400hp no matter where it comes from like i said you race a 400hp srt and pulled by a car at most so if he had 600hp im wondering how it would turn out do the math on that ..

@icdeademopeople actually you can't make anything have anyamount of power or they would use fourcylinders in all racecars because there light. and if the srt weighs less and has awd it would easily pull a camaro weighing over 3000Lbs but if it was a top speed race the camaro would take it.

@crazyskier540 henessy venom Ettore Bugatti makes it and you can make anything is fast as you want if you have deep pokets you can make a 4 cyc the size of a truck engine with pistons 9 inches wide if you want and the fact still remains it takes a 600hp camero to beat a 400hp neon by a car lol wow thats a walk alright whatever floats your boat there buddy you make no sense and own a 91 camero ugly as shit and slow as shit get off my nuts and go by a neon lol

@icdeademopeople ha the henessy venom is made by John Henessy lol and again no you can't it is impossible to get 8000hp from a 4cyl but you can get it from a bigblock V8 so again your WRONG! and i highly doubt that camaro has 600whp sounds nothing like it i think it is 600 at the crank with spray its probably around 450-500 at the wheels and with a hevier and older car. iv riddin in a car with 650Hp and it would have killed that neon and dont be jealous i drive a camaro and you drive a ugly neon

so aaa what trans does the srt-4 have cause my buddy has and had an srt4.. the one he had blew the trans and it was on 18 psi and he had to buy a new input shaft. im thinkin the camaro has intake and exhaust and about 375 hp. people hate on ls1's but there badass engines after they get off the line lol.

good to see the SRT holding it's own against the Camaro. ex-srt owner and now current camaro owner here and i must say the SRT is an extremely impressive 4cylinder turbo car and the motors are almost bullet proof. and a 3076r car running 30psi is no joke.

from an ex-srt4 owner and now a kb cobra guy point of view, i do believe the maro to be 600+ on the jug and the srt @30 psi (depending on turbo) anywhere from 500-550ish (that srt4 @600 would own that camaro due to power to weight ratio) with that said some of the v8 guys need to get their heads out of the asses, thinking that a 600rwhp camaro is unbeatable,

So sorry, i don't think any turbo in the world is going to give a car an almost 400 hp boost..if so..please refer me to it.. also, ive been in a mustang with 540hp.. and these dont match up.. i'de give it at best 375-450hp per car. Good car, but the numbers posted on this video are fake.

@amyntage, are you for real? really, lol, i understand the 150hp speculation you are throwing w/o the turbo, but guess what, that's how it came from factory, lets take couple of cylinders out a stock v8 to see how it does, (see my point) but to say any turbo in the world won't give a car 400hp +\- is a moot statement that shows you sir dunno anything of what you speak,

@abduran77, I fail to see your point in removing a 'couple of cylinders' out of a v8. Then it'd be a v6, alot of newer v8s are making 400+ hp. Granted the one in this video is an lt1 which stock make 276hp. The best turbo i've heard of, STS turbo. gave a ls1 camaro (stock hp - 319) with a single turbo @ 8 psi gave it 509 hp. --190hp gain from a turbo on a v8 car.

@abduran77, i Dont know how much a gt30t6r will give an increase in hp, but seeing as he said this camaro had 600+hp, and the srt4 (which only listed mod is a turbo) ill give it about 375-425hp at best it just wouldnt most likely hang from a rolling where hp / weight ratio isn't so heavily needed.
