fucking hell how dumb can you be! if you go meet some who says "meet me in a abondoned warehouse, dont tell your parents" and you DO IT! you deserve to get pedefilled
Cont 3: I know we prize innocence these days but absolute innocence comes at the cost of their ability to defend themselves. you endanger children more by hiding them from their problems and making them sheltered than by letting them deal with what they can when they can.
Cont 2: problem. You're continuing to make knives child safe by removing the edges and destroying essential functionality in the name of safety! Yes you want your children to be safe... but it's like a cold. if they are NEVER exposed to the risk factor, they won't know how to handle it later. I'm not saying you should let them visit some random stranger on the internet that they spoke to once, but I'm saying if you don't let them handle social interactions they are going to be socially inept.
cont.: software, you shouldn't be involved in the gene pool. Furthermore, if you DO have an intelligent child, you're HURTING them by doing this. 1: they will never trust you again. I should know. similar scenario happened 16 years ago. still don't trust them. 2: you're laying down a crutch. the best way to instill responsible behavior is to trust them to use responsible behavior. you don't carry a kid and expect them to know how to walk. 3: using this sort of thing enhances an even bigger
Alright I'm well beyond the age where this would even be legal to use on me, though I can appreciate the alarm from that perspective but I'll take this from the parental perspective. Even then I'm going to say this is a major fuck-up. Rule number 1: Darwins law. Sounds harsh, is harsh, but is also true. if you are too stupid to have taught your children how to properly deal with the internet before letting them use the internet without supervision, (real supervision people, not monitoring
This will only make your kids distrust you. And once they become paranoid and suspicious of their parents, they will never trust you again no matter what.
OR what this stupid woman could have done is not let her young daughter use chatting software and let her talk to whoever she wants.. just because of one accident the internet is evil now? utter stupidity. theres still bullying at school, pedophiles in the streets... what do you do hire a personal investigator for every single child and have them followed everywhere they go?
Or you could just tell your kids that talking to old guys who want to have sex with them is bad. Though they should probably already know that if they have a functioning brain.
Obviously none of the youth seeing this video like this, but it's irresponsible for parents to over-estimate the maturity and level of responsibility of their minor children.
Further, still remembering my youth, I know that the most strident protestations of the "need to privacy" were in fact a demand for license to do things I knew full well my parents wouldn't approve of. Such is the folly of youth.
It's no different than having a veto over their friends, or where they'll go to school.
I guess those under 18 don't have a right to freedom... then again, if their dumb enough to agree to meet someone who turns out to be a scumbag paedofile...
yeah im sick of hearing all this negative shit about the net, if they go out & meet someone bad that is their stupidity in judgement not the fucking internet's fault..
yup and it will be on how much energy they use....so if you brush your teeth and leave the tap running you are in trouble....this is called people policing other people.......
we have the right to privacy and freedom btw i dont care about this vid it makes me afraid that my freedom and privacy will be gone

As parents, we all want to protect our children when they go online.
Thanks to advances in technology this is getting harder and harder to
do. Internet predators are getting smarter and so are children. When
you buy parental security software, you have to update it on a regular
basis and monitor new websites to ensure nothing gets past the
program. Thanks to SnipeSlider, it no longer has to be this way. This
handy program works (and continues to work) as a key to the Internet. Snipeslider, com

There is a new product to Protect children online. (SnipeSlider)
Snipe creates a barrier between “parent” mode and “children” mode.
It's amazing! Take a look:
