That's the famous escape....they used fake heads of plaster to distract the guards so they could escape.

Not to bad for the rooms. Today I was at a CourtHouse and they took me to look at the Jail cell.Theres was:

1- A metal toilet 6 inches off ground

2- a Metal sink

3- 2 metal beds with no sheets, blanket or pillow!!!!!!

what inside his guts and stuff. also 11 tried to escape 3 did. they probley died as their raft was made of rain coats. the escapees were Frank morris Clarence and john Angline and also Charlie butts who didnt. As he was late. very intresting subject.

there were 14 escape attempts and i cant remember but im sure its over 36 people who tried inlcuidn the battle of alcatraz which resulted in 7 deaths i think .

No, they were the closest to making it but they didn't. I think one died and at least all three got shot. Some of them were brought back into the prison again. They touched water, though, if that says something.

My uncle who is now dead was sent to Alcatraz for 30 years for posessing violent substances and sharing with a huge amount of people. He had more years in Alcatraz then he did in the outside world.
