Thank you for making this footage available ! ! I have to admit I was skeptical about this, but once I got past the announcer's introduction and started hearing this amazing family tell their memories (especially Dwight - how does that man remember so much? ) this becomes very real and very moving. It really helps me understand the "career" aspect that has affected country musicians. It's good to hear the family's story. Thanks again.
Thank you for these videos. It is just my opinion, but I believe that Keith Whitley was and remains the greatest Country artist of my generation. He was absolutely AWESOME. RIP Keith.
Thank you, John. Fans who aren't familiar with other members of Keith's family are shocked to find that they are so accessible and so willing to meet with the fans. Dwight has a real gift for spinning a story. I've spent some time talking with him and with Flo. I talked with Mary for only a couple of minutes. I've talked with Miss Faye, and they're the most wonderful people.
Haven't heard from you in a while. Thanks for stopping by! I think this was produced in 1995, during Dwight's affiliation with NEON Records. That was his record company that put out his first album "Brotherly Love."
could someone please let me know where i can buy a cd or cassette with dwights song the legend and the man , i love this song dwight is a great singer.i've tried to find it but had no luck.
You're welcome, Brian. I know, I've waited for YEARS to see this video myself, and I finally got it with a bunch of other DVD's from Cherrie for my birthday. I'll also be uploading the tour of the museum that was set up in the garage hosted by Flo. She was as pretty in that presentation as I've ever seen her. Be looking for that soon. That'll probably be part 5.
I don't know what was going on with YouTube today. Dwight used one of the tapes for a track on the "Kentucky Bluebird" CD. I know now those tapes are priceless. Now that it seems like everything's in working order, I guess it's safe to start uploading more.
Mrs Whitley seems like such a nice sweet lady. God Bless her.

Yeah, YouTube was having a lot of problems today. But I'm glad you came back. Seems now like whatever the problem was has been resolved.
