people there is a trick to kicking canarys ass easily and you even dont have to get turbo or even mash fast, she has rubber band Ai, so if you start really slow, she will be really slow, but just stay right next to her and dont get ahead until you see the finish line and last second sprinting is required for race 2. there i did it in 1 hour with simple thumbs and no speed required

I see that mary actually only passes with you if your rate of pressing the button changes. So don't stop tapping, press pause, and then tap so that your rate is constant and fast and as fast as possible.

the reason why Canary Mary's such a bitch at this is because Rare programmed her with "Rubberband AI"...In other words, the harder you try, she'll try harder than you and just leave you eating her dust...It's cheep as hell and knowing that Rare is behind this, the guys behind Battletoads, one of the hardest game series ever, is it any surprise...I honestly think Rare has hated everyone from the beginning of time or they wouldn't just flat out say "let's just do casual Kinect games from now on"

Just pace yourself so you're just in front of her most of the time, until near the end should you try full speed. 'Cause Mary adjusts her speed with yours.

The fastest way do tap any button A Y B X O square or triangle is to take your fingernails and just run them left and right over the button and it pretty much hits it every 00:00:01 instead of all your fingernails taping it w/one finger is more 00:00:06 and no pain at all so running your fingernails over it is 100% easier.

try this sometime Cyph it's so much easier.

p.s. this works w/any console controller except maybe wii LOL :D

actually, an easy way i found is to just press a slowly instead of rapidly. use the bridge in "Face Fisted" by Dethklok when Brendan counts to 8 as the tempo, then just haul ass at the end

You can actually do the first race without pausing very easily. If you simply press A at a slower speed, Canary Mary will fly at about the same rate you do. Just make sure you stay barely in front of her (so she's just visible on the bottom of the screen or just off it) until you see the finish. Then go all out. On the Cheato page race though, I haven't managed to win, she always gets me at the very end. I have nothing to record myself with, but I guarantee it works on the jiggy race.

hey guys, the secret how you beat this without pausing the game is: you just have to be close BEHIND the canary bitch....the hole race! she will think that she is gonna win and won't be too fast for you, but close to the finish line you have to beat the shit out of your button to run past her. this is no lie! try it if you don't believe me.

I actually found an easy way to beat this on XBOX360: Get in the cart, pause the game as soon as you can, turn off your controller, swap out for a Guitar Hero controller, unpause, then kick ass. Helps a ton.
