being backstage at rocklahoma is not all that fancy there are no rockstars walking around back there and if they are back there they wont talk to you. the only cool thing about back there is the free beer, food, and pop and energy drinks

Is the backstage pass included with the VIP tickets?

I think to get a backstage pass you have to upgrade your VIP ticket. I upgraded my VIP 4 day ticket for Thursday and Friday. It costs $100, for each day, in addition to your VIP ticket, so I only upgraded mine for 2 days. I wanted to be closer for "Anthrax" and for the "Gypsy Pistoleros". I may upgrade for Friday, too, so I can be closer for "Ratt".

Rocklahoma fucking SUCKED this year! (2008)

We got rained out on Saturday & they had to push back the showtimes cause the side stages fell apart.

The only reason I even had a decent time is because I snuck into the VIP area- they were expecting us to pay $80 for general admission, which meant we had to stand outside the stage seating and just watch the bands from far away- well fuck that shit, I snuck in & watched the show 3 rows back from the stage.

me and my wife are going next year were already saving for it. our first date i took her out to have dinner with ratt, and hung out with them. needless to say i busted my ass to make that one happen! she was in awe though . because she had no idea where we were going. and warren was cool as hell. finally got to play his! skull and blood, snakeskin guitars. what an awesome night
