@tiagandremo because if i used round shot i would have gotten killed in the swordfight that follows, i needed to destroy his numbers ASAP if i wanted any chance of winning.

@canneddragoon not really the way i do it when i go up against way bigger ships is fire roundshot as i get in super close range, then take out their sails with dismasting shot, then park up behind/in front of them, out of their main line of fire, if they have bow/snern chasers fuck it, not like them can sink you, THEN i kick in with ani personel shot

Maybe it's because I haven't played the game yet. But.. didn't the bigger ship have very poor tactics? Instead of finishing you off, it moved to your port side and shot at the fresh armor there. >.>

Might be good to mention that the lvl 30 is NPC. After learning some tactics it's quite simple to beat NPC's of about any level if they'r alone.
