like i said an unloaded firearm will get you killed few people in a stress situation would be able to draw drop the mag and insert a loaded one then hit the safety if that applies recognize the threat get sight picture and squeeze the trigger....its much different at the range my friend in a controlled environment........and i never said i didnt respect these people i hate the way laws are written to almost be in your favor but not quite.....take the 4 thumbs down and stick em up your asses...

These people are abiding by the law! They deserve our respect! In California, residents' can only unloaded open carry (in most situations).

This is one specific instance where the anti-gun law that prohibits carrying a loaded firearm in public serves to weaken the chances of the everyday law abiding joe to defend himself from criminal attack.

I'd take an unloaded firearm (with ammo accessable) over no firearm any day! Get real!

ttitan- how do you know someone in the group, or more than one, just might have CCW paperwork? I agree that Concealed carry is better all around. We need to vote out the elitist anti self defense politicians that love to keep people controlled. Pelosi, Finklestink, Perata, basically, ever liberal Democrat in this State! Migden, Nostrilman, Jane Harman, Honda, Lofgren, Eschew. et al. All need to go!

Approx. 40 other states have CCW. A few don't require paper. Crime has gone down!
