  • Billie Joe for president :)

  • why everybody not ready on that 5/4 beat part..? I mean this it not a first live cover where singers totally fuck ups... great skills..=/

  • it never seems like during these "all star" wankfests, that anyone was put in charge of actually coordinated and arranging these so called tributes, which turn it out to be disasters usually....Lennon's been dead for some time now, so they cant say they didnt have time to get this shit together....had someone properly got these guys together and worked out harmonies, solos etc., it might have had a chance...instead slap em all together and you get a multi-millionaire soup of mediocrity..

  • fucksake bad karaoke

  • Fucking alicia keys ruined this song

  • Is this a tribute to The Beatles or the people doing the tribute?

  • Whoa, I always knew these people sucked I just didn't know how much....until now

  • Making up their own vocalizations totally fucked up this song :/

  • If Roger Waters didn't make it almost near to John, Bobo & company will never do it...

  • no man deserves to be on that stage singing that song, none of them could even come close to dreaming to accomplish as much as john lennon & the beatles. If you can't do a song justice, you don't do it at all.

  • @lees2oo8 BRAVO - Well said.

  • What happened to the one who was responsible for the sound? The sound is awful!!!

  • this is a terrible way to destroy a great song, retarded singers.

  • such a terrible boring, no annoying celeb-Bliblablu to a really terrific song

  • wtf why so many retarded singers lmfao

  • Woah Billie Joe didn't do half-bad

  • I don't like these celeb rock, Live Aid collabs...where everyone is trying to outdo each other. Soulless showing off. Embarassing tripe

  • way way way way over done...to many cooks spoil the broth....

  • fucking blasphemous cunts.

  • fucking blasphemous cunts.

  • Have you seen Stevie's new shoes?...neither has he

  • not just buno!!

  • These people sang the song to Commemorate the Beatles. It's not that they sang it bad...it is REMEMBERING the Ones (The Beatles) who immortalized the song.

  • I prefer Fiona Apple's version...

  • I like it very much but I prefer original version.

  • yeah I don't like it...beatles were, are and will be the best singers!

  • This is what I call ¨let´s try and ruin one of the best songs ever written¨

  • i agree they ruined it but at the same time it shows me how much respect people have for the beatles cuz instead of trying to say there better then the beatles they do a cover

  • He is still blind as you might know so he had to find the position of the mic first so no mistakes there.

  • Did Stevie forget the words?

  • @SirDrexl yeah hahaha

  • Bono is the best!

  • Ahhh filthy... its forced prostitution.

And was that the prick from Green Day? Arsehole can't sing...

  • shut up with your stupid critic

it's obviously that the ebst song is the beatles

but others can sing this song!

  • omg... it's ugly, i prefer the original Beatles song...

  • The Red Haired Guy is Scott Weiland

  • Horrible

  • Great cover. The best performers (to me ): S Tyler, guy with red hair, B Wilson and Bono. The rest isn't that good (even Stevie !)

  • slash+bono+gerard+many other awesome people= epic win

  • butchered.

  • ...did keys say 'break it down' at 3:30? cuz that would be totally corny.

  • Great tribute to the beatles.

  • It should have been just Slash, Bono, and Steven Tyler.

  • Yeah ha... that isn't Bowie.... Keep Bono and Slash. Everyone else can leave.

  • And Johnny Rotten, Steven Tyler, and Stevie Wonder

  • i really like the choice of slash on guitar...it would have been good if it was just bono

  • aww....This totaly sux i dont like it.....they choose the wrong people to sing such a good song...i like alicias k.'s voice but i dont like it in this song...:(..it doesnt go ith it it SUX!!!! well compared to the real version

  • This probably would have been a lot better with just the people actually playing instruments onstage with only Bono singing.

  • This is incredibly poor and the guy with red hair only wants to sound like Bowie....he certainly isnt him. Why the hell is there a cowboy on this stage???? Norah Jones is singing way too low...Bono is always lost without his band....Wilson is past it...Lennon is rolling in his freaking grave

  • Your a fool

  • How the fuck did Ravi Shankar's daughter...oops...I mean "Norah Jones" get up there??

  • It's Brian Wilson

  • is that old guy paul

  • I think you mean Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys

  • Somebody needs to wheel ol' Brain back to his room.

  • Agreed, he thinks he's the messiah

  • its scott weiland from stone temple pilots

  • He's a parody of himself in this clip.

  • i just got 2 thing to say, I`m a gunner and it`s good to see duff, matt & slash playing on stage again!! lol

  • Awe comeon - it's not that bad!

  • that velvet underground singer sounded like he was trying to copy david bowie wayy to much

  • or whoever had the pink hair

  • go back to school?

    i think you should man

    thats not bowie man

    david bowie is tallented.

the guy with the pink hair is Scott Weiland from velvet revolver

hes 20 years younger then david bowie

dont try and act all smart unless you know your facts.

  • damn man, he told you off good.

  • Velvet Revolver you mean... Velvet Underground is a TOTALLY different band.

  • yeah i skrewed up there

    i love velvet underground,

    i was baked im sorry

but yeah the singer from velvet REVOLVER sounds like hes trying to copy bowie, ahha not lou reed

  • yeah i skrewed up there

    i love velvet underground,

    i was baked im sorry

but yeah the singer from velvet REVOLVER sounds like hes trying to copy bowie, ahha not lou reed

ahah i sent that comment on the wrong account

  • bono and steven tyler were amazing.

and billie joe could have done better.

but everyone else just did not belong there.

who was the red hair guy though.

i know i know who he is,

i just fucking forget his name and its bothering me.

    he wasnt too bad either...

  • No offense to any of these singers, but I've heard better group singing from my drunk co-workers at holiday parties... and trust me... they don't sing sober for a reason.

  • This version sucks, The Beatles version is so much better!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree, these people fucked it up, Stevie Wonder is great, but he forgot the lyrics... they tried too hard

  • This was recorded at the Grammys a couple of years ago. It sounds badly underrehearsed by the singers, with the exception of Bono, Steve Tyler, and Tim McGraw. And the band really kicks it. Geez big singing stars--you know you're going on national TV to perform this song, couldn't you at least PRACTICE it so you don't look like idiots?

  • everyone should've just turned off their mics and left Bono alone on the stage, he owned this performance and made everyone look even worse, as usual....That opening was beautiful...aside from Bono, this is verging on terribad... I laugh at times...that first part with stevie was painful, the second woman sounded like a depressed, groaning goat, the greenday singer doesn't even belong, and it's just a total mess!!!

  • Hey brother, thats scott weiland, of STP and Velvet revolver, not David Bowie, though he does a version with john lennon on Young Americans, sounds alot like bowie in this though!

  • Oh my god! i love this!

    Bono,Billie,Steven tyler,Bowie and slash!

    Fucking cool!

  • when was this recorded??

  • Bono and steven tyler are amazing.

    i love them.

id have been happy if it was just them singing the whole song.

  • Johnny rotten? I can't see him there.

  • oh man, this pretty much sucks. THe only ones who aren't terrible are Bono and Steven Tyler. Whoever that is who sings third is amazingly terrible. And the fourth is almost as bad. I wish I knew who these people were though.

  • LOL I didn't know at first that Alicia Keys was in it, and I thought you were just making fun of stevie.

  • Hey, Alicia Keys! You have a great voice but this isn't your song.

    Tone down the vibrato, thanks.

  • She was "blacking it up" just like they all do with the National Anthem. Makes me want to vomit.

  • Bono rules but Johnny Rotten and Stevie Wonder are killer too. David Bowie does a kick ass version with John Lennon on Young Americans

  • Steven Tyler did the best job here

  • Actually now that I think about it, I like it with everyone singing it

  • I think if Bono sang it the whole time it woulda sounded better

  • when was this? i just want to know

  • Rufus did this song the best

  • You some sort of wizard Mszczupak? Thanks.

  • all of them sound horrible...

  • yeah this is a pretty awesome group of people. damn!

but you have to admit that this "pass the mic" tribute songs with celebrities are SOOOO corny.

    haha

    but this is too good

  • Bloody Brilliant!!
